Summary

"High school sweethearts, cutest couple, and together forever" were the words that used to describe Amy and Stuart. Now, with college behind them and careers in full swing, they are not the couple they once were. Those happy words have been replaced by separation, disappointment, and drifting apart. As they face the end of their forever, a high school reunion may just be what these two need to rekindle their love.

Simple

This is just the sort of story I was in the mood for: a simple romance, sure there was a plot but just the same, there was an easy solution. The short story follows the lives of Amy and her husband, who also happened to be her high school sweetheart. The two people who have always been beautifully right for each other, except now they have a huge problem: they're growing apart.

Can their relationship survive the separation? Will they move on, with different people? Was their's a foolish marriage?

As short as it was, this book was good. It was written smoothly, there were no details left out no loose ends. And, while it wasn't the same as A Chance for Sunny Skies (which ventures into the 'laughing out loud' territory- I'm a huge fan of that book, as you can probably tell), this book (for a short romance novel) was great. The storyline was realistic: 'growing apart' is an issue most couples deal with at some point. I liked it.

I received this book through Audiobook Boom.
