Wow!

How does he do it?
I truly don’t understand how the author George Saoulidis grabs you from page one, first word till the last word in such a short story but he somehow able to do it.
I’ve never seen it done before by any other author and I don’t believe that I’ll ever will, it’s an amazing talent!
Narration by Lori VanScyoc was spot on.

In exchange for an honest review I’ve received this audiobook.

I got you.

Just eight minutes long, how much can happen? Well, in a short by author George Saoulidis, an awful lot. Thrown straight into the action, we accompany Samantha, also codenamed Lightshow, on her first (dare I say it?) dazzling mission. Quite brilliant.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same of the narrator. Although technically good, Lori VanScyoc's delivery was so abrasive that I personally found it disconcertingly hard to take in and unsympathetic to the character. I had to listen twice to get beneath it. Better to read the story in print.
My thanks to Mythographers who, at my request freely gifted me with a complimentary audio copy.

Do electronic sheep dream?

This short story gave me the mental image of a blade runner (original) setting with powered humans (mutants?) being hunted by a shadowy agency. A new member of this rebellion being tested/sent on a mission. The absence already aware of her powers. The trust needed in each other to complete a mission. I would love a deeper look into this world to which we have been given a window. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher
