Summary

When the lights go out, how far will you go to survive?

When an EMP devastates the nation's power supply, it doesn't take long for society to spiral out of control. There is no government to guide people. There is no power and no order. Only chaos and panic.

In the immediate aftermath of the devastation, five survivors-a self-sufficient survivalist, a university student, a plane crash survivor, a young girl, and an escaped prisoner-all face a dangerous, treacherous journey towards safety.

But as the day goes on and tensions reach breaking point, our survivors soon realize this solar event is far more dangerous than they could ever have imagined...

Lights Out is the first book in the Surviving the EMP post apocalyptic series chronicling five very different survivors and the way they handle disaster. If you enjoy stories of ordinary people thrown into devastating new circumstances, you'll love Lights Out.

Eh....

Not a bad story, but nothing fresh or original. A little unbelievable in some areas and a little “poly-annish” in others. It was free so I won’t knock it too much, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone rush out to grab this book.

Not worth the time

This author should not give up his day job. Very poor storyline corrector and construction. Don’t waste your time.

Unbelievable & Disappointing

This book was very hard to get into. The characters had these huge revaluations and transformations within the course of a few hours of "the power going out," and it was just very unbelievable. I found myself trying to get through it as fast as I could, because I just wanted it to be over already.

Worst book ever

This was literally about nothing. Boring characters that have zero plot. Suddenly making a huge emotional change for no reason and I couldn’t care less. This is my all time favorite genre so if you’re looking for your next post apocalyptic book…skip this one!

great story

I enjoyed hearing the people's stories come together. The narrator was this shy of sounding automated. His saving Grace was the occasional inflection. The story line however was great.
