I like the gentle romance intertwined into the story. It has a nice rhythm with each revelation coming just when needed.

Found myself listening when I should have been doing something else - always a sign of a good story and good narration (which I sped up a tiny bit to 1.05 and found this helpful). Will listen to further episodes from Zoe and Ethan’s lives.

beautifully read book, very well done with all the voices from kids to gruff men and I particularly liked how the character of Zoe came to life through the narration.

The deep timbre of this narrator gave all the MCs the same "voice", old or young, male or female alike, an awful jarring irritating rasp!!! Horrible, unlistenable, which of course impacted the ability to enjoy the tale. Gave up very soon in.
