Not related to life insurance sales at all.

This book is a short collection of very basic sales tips. There is nothing of value here in regards to life insurance sales. The book often repeats itself for no reason. Don’t waste your time on this.

Nothing comprehensive or unique

I was hanging on hoping for a nugget, but these are all well-covered and known topics for anyone in the sales profession. Unless you're new to sales, this isn't worth your time.

Disappointed

So sorry I picked this book. It was not what I expected. Nothing about the sale of life insurance.
It was more about building a business.

Introductory sales book that mentions life insurance a few times

This book is a generic introduction to sales book disguised as a book specifically about life insurance sales. I’ve given it 2 stars for having decent information in it about the sales industry, but overall there are sales books that better prepare someone for the career. There are also a plethora of books that are better regarding the topic of life insurance. Also, the audio occasionally repeats itself. Almost an entire chapter was repeated by the audio. If you are already in the insurance industry do NOT purchase this book.

Utterly Worthless

Blah blah blah, cliche, blah blah blah, cliche, blah blah blah, cliche, blah blah blah, cliche, blah blah blah, cliche, blah blah blah, cliche.

Would you believe that in a title called, 'Life Insurance Sales Success Formula,' there is almost nothing in the "Audio-book" about how to sell Life Insurance? There is certainly no "Success Formula," and nothing about sales, or Life Insurance...WTF?

The first two chapters talk about what a great career it is and how you can make lots of money...utterly worthless if you are already in the career. Then it tells you to join a networking group like BNI...duh. Then it tells you to act professionally in the group. Duh. Then Blah blah blah, cliche, blah blah blah.

In the 7th chapter, which was unbearable and contained nothing, nothing, about sales, or Life Insurance or Success, it actually repeated several minutes of content! I thought I was going cuckoo...or didn't know how to operate the app...nope it repeats the worthless cliche-ed platitudes.

Obviously do not buy this even if you have a morbid curiosity or even if you hate yourself. I can't get my two hours back, but I am going to see if I can get my money back it is that bad. All the positive reviews are obviously from friends and family.

Highly Recommended For Newbies

This book is helping me as I get through my learning curve. There's lots of pressure and very little support (outside of this book that is). This audio book is like a counselor encouraging and training me as I go through my life insurance sales experience. Highly recommended it.

Probably a great read if you're not already in the life insurance industry.

Perhaps I should have read the description a little bit better before purchasing this book. Already being in the life insurance industry, I hoped to glean a few new ideas from this book. All I found was sales platitudes and poorly regurgitated information from sales trainers in general. I am sure Mike Browder is very successful, because the book talks about rocksolid principles that are applicable to any sales profession. I was just hoping for something that was relevant to the life insurance industry, that could give me a new idea or two. This book is geared primarily to those who are not yet in the industry.
