Summary

Die Klatschreporterin Cassie Devinmoore hat ihr Leben im Griff. Zusammen mit ihren Freundinnen Emily, Taylor und Olive lebt sie in einer schicken WG im angesagten Londoner Viertel Portobello. Als sie jedoch den Shootingstar der Serie "Highlander Kisses" interviewen soll, ist sie nicht sonderlich erfreut, denn der gutaussehende Sam MacLeod verkörpert alles, was Cassie nicht mag: Schottland und Schauspieler.

Missmutig bricht sie nach Applecross, einem kleinen Dorf im Norden Schottlands, auf. Dummerweise ist Sam MacLeod ebenfalls nicht begeistert darüber, dass ausgerechnet die Reporterin ein Interview mit ihm führen soll, die ihn in ihrer Kolumne vor knapp einem Jahr bereits bloßgestellt hat. Doch dann läuft Cassie ein Schaf über den Weg und plötzlich kommt alles anders als geplant...
