I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I'm glad a lot of the relationships progressed more in this book, and I thought the wide range of mythical creatures in the book gave the story more dimension.

I listened to the audiobook, and I thought that the narration was excellent. The duel narration by Bridget and Jake Bordeaux truly brought the story to life.

This is the second book in The Deadwood series. OMG this book is so delicious. The story really picked up. I am loving all the different magical creatures. I was not ready for that cliffhanger! Bridget and Jake Bordeaux did a phenomenal job narrating this book. I can't wait for the next book.

Yes yes yes yes yes! This book had all the feels, gripped me from book 1 but book was so much more. Nilsa continues on her journey to clear her name, collecting mates as she goes!
But ummmm that cliff hanger has left me wanting more!!!
Jump in with both feet first, the spice is soooo great, jake and Bridget have knocked it out of the park once again!

Well things are definitely getting interesting. As a fan of spice and story I think this is a perfect balance! It's not just all spice, scene after scene, there's a lots of building of the story. I enjoy the different viewpoints of the men too, especially the stubborn as anything captain.
