This book kind of took me by surprise, I found it an enjoyable listen, although there wasn’t really much in the way of descriptions, the story moved at a nice pace. Graham Halstead did a good job of narration. I’ve already listened to titles narrated by him an knew he would do a good job.. I will carry on the series. It left me wanting more.. definitely not a bad way to spend seven hours

This was a really interesting start into a new series. I will without a doubt listen to more of the books. The humour was good, the action was well written and some of the side characters are starting to be fleshed out already in this first book. The main character is enjoyable, and his decisions seem reasonable and sometimes catch me off guard, in a good way. The performance was stellar, and kept me engaged even through stat readups. Very solid beginning
