Summary

In this pulse-pounding novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling Leopard series, animal instinct unites two elite shifters whose heads are at war with their hearts.

Gorya Amurov might be known as his family’s peacekeeper, but the leopard inside him wants nothing more than to claw to the surface and unleash hell. A harsh life has shaped him into a vicious fighter with a calm exterior, but Gorya knows it’s only a matter of time until he loses all control. Deep down, he truly believes he’d be better off dead, and that no woman will ever accept him as a mate. …

Maya Averina has spent years hunting the criminals who destroyed her life, and she always takes down her prey. She keeps to herself, stays under the radar, and never loses focus. But with her body burning up and her mind distracted by her first heat, an ambush catches her by surprise. Now she’s trapped, an unmated female shifter about to be sold off to the highest bidder. Maya is ready to fight her way out—until the most dangerous, powerful man she’s ever encountered arrives to set her free. …

Good Pace

I liked the story between the two main characters and the sense that things in the wider plot are starting to move along. What I'm starting to struggle with though, is the constant plot of human trafficking, not just in the leopard series but almost all of the series by CF. It is so difficult to read some of these scenes that I'm having to consider continuing the series and there's no way I'll be doing a reread.

5 ⭐️

I have read at least 10 of Cristiane freehans books of the (leopard people) they were all so amazing but “leopards scar”really did put me off on reading anymore of her books because it had cheating in that book and I don’t read anything with cheating in after the cheating is mentioned I just stop reading and send it back but with “leopards hunt”cristiane really did turn it around I think she realised not a lot of people liked leopard scar because of the cheating and no backbone from the main female so now that I’ve said that this book was great I’m happy to say there is NO cheating in this book Gorya and maya were an absolute amazing couple gorya was a little hesitant and so was maya about being mates but that ends quickly mayas up bringing was really really bad there is mentions of rape and abuse at a very young age and through out her life also in goryas life too and (nearly) every character from the series, was in this book that I can remember and the narrator sometimes switches to other characters prospectives including enemies which was different but I like it. The narrator did an amazing job too so I will be reading more of leopards people if any more come out I will just have to wait and see what people say about it first to make sure it’s 100% NO cheating like I tell everybody who read books always check the reviews first to make sure everything is ok with the book I also like when author give warning on there books for any triggers in the book but Cristiane doesn’t do that sooo (READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUY) 😊 again great book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brilliantly read. Fantastic story.

I enjoyed the book. What a twist to the story. Loved to revisit some of the old characters. Good voice reading, clear recording.
