'I've never read romance like this before' RACHEL LYNN SOLOMON

This time they'll get it right . . .

Wren and Ellis Byrd fell in love as kids, had their son Sam when they were only teenagers, and built a life together in the coastal town of Spunes, Oregon. They were made for one another . . . until they fell apart.

Now divorced and in their 30s, Wren runs the bakery in town, while Ellis works as a firefighter. They live separate lives, though they are hardly off each other's minds.

When Sam gets accepted into college and the pair agree to help him move in together, Ellis convinces Wren to take an extended road trip back to Spunes with him to see if they can give their relationship one last chance. Amid the gorgeous scenery of the California coastline, dreamy destinations, and a great deal of long-yearned-for proximity, Wren starts to think it just might be possible. But the two still have to contend with their tumultuous past in order to move forward. And when spoken words fail, sometimes the written word must bridge the gap.

Will they make the most of what's left of forever?
Or will they let each other go for good?

You can't help but ache for Ellis and Wren. Their longing for each other leaps off the page. A truly heartfelt read, brimming with wit and charm
An impeccable second chance romance that snatched me off real life and had me breathless until I turned the last page. I'm hopeless when it comes to beautiful prose that makes the world quiet around me, but pair that with a nice dose of angst, spine-tingling steam, and the kind of love that's etched onto your heart, and I'm yours forever. Truly. That's how long I plan on keeping Ellis and Wren's story safely tucked against my chest.
Left of Forever packs such an emotional punch . . . I loved watching Wren and Ellis find their way back to each other, both through their letters where they could express some of their truest feelings and through the time they spent together. (And oh, the time they spent together!) I would know a Tarah DeWitt romance anywhere
A testament to the power of a second chance romance . . . gorgeous, tender, and filled with adorable, lovable, smoldering hope. It's the kind of book that you wish you could live in, and I finished it feeling like an honorary member of the loyal (and nosy) Byrd family, and an honorary citizen of Spunes, Oregon - plus very ready to find a stoic firefighter to bake something for. Five stars!
A uniquely immersive love story, with writing that's both stunningly lyrical and side-splittingly hilarious. I've never read a romance like this before, one so intimate and lived-in, with characters who grab your heart on page one and never let go. Tarah DeWitt is a master of emotion

This is THE PERFECT book for lovers of second chance romances. This was so swooney and cute but also emotional and..and… just so damn good. This was a beautiful example of how much open communication and sharing your deepest, most personal thoughts can save your relationship, and help you find a way back to your love. I loved how vulnerable both Wren and Ellis let themselves be. And the narration.. it was flawless. I deeply enjoyed both the male and female narrators voices. They were so natural.

This book is perfection ❤️

This story is phenomenal and the audio is 10/10. I have listened to it three times and sobbed at the ending (happy tears) every time. Do yourself a favour and listen to this, it is perfection.

Probably my favourite listen of 2025 so far. Everything about this was perfect - the story, the writing, the narration and Ellis and Wren. It’s such a beautiful story that doesn’t shy away from heartache and difficult themes, but you root for two characters who just need to find their way back to one another. It’s a lovely, lovely story - hope there’s more to come in this series!

I don’t know where to start with how wonderful this book is!

It was a heartwarming story. ❤️ I genuinely recommend it. The narrators were wonderful. It’s such a shame the audiobook wasn’t recorded entirely in duet.

Emotional ❤️

Love me some fantasy books but it usually portrays younger characters. Them being over 30 and parents make it all so very relatable. What a beautiful story!

Finally a love story for adults
