About this listen

When your best friend is kidnapped, how far would you go to get them back?

For Danny Pearson, the answer is simple: all the way to hell and back.

Scott Miller vanishes from his hotel in Brazil. No ransom demand. No witnesses. Just gone.

While everyone else sees a cold trail, Danny sees what they missed. He's tracked terrorists across war zones, hunted killers through cities, survived impossible odds—and now he's bringing every brutal skill he has into the jungles of Colombia.

Because the trail leads straight to El Diablo, a cartel boss whose name means exactly what you think it does. And Scott's only valuable to El Diablo until he isn't.

The clock is ticking. Danny leaves nothing to chance.

He'll burn through every cartel soldier, every sicario, every layer of El Diablo's empire until he finds Scott. Friendship isn't a word—it's a promise written in blood. And Danny Pearson always keeps his promises.

As always really enjoyed the fast pace of the story and Stephens attention to detail with the cast and chapters included within and updated as the story continues
Just wish it gets on audible earlier but better late than never
Great read for me wish it was longer

The entire story line was the same as but NOT as good as many many others 🥴.
The narration was worse than poor at times I constantly expected the narrator to exclaim “ CRICKY “ straight out of the very very old children’s “ Billy Bunter “ series NOT a 2024 adventure / international crime / Drug Cartel 🤔 The lead man in the story sounded as if his voice hadn’t broken, nearly every other character other than the drug dealers were all sympathetic to his cause and what wife was even doing in the story is beyond me . In short the worst audio book I have purchased 🤔
