Learning Spanish like crazy, intermediate level
Finally I have found one of the missing links in my endeavor to learn Spanish! I will tell you the only problem I have with it first, before I go on to say what I like about this Audio book: it is in Latin American Spanish whereas I am learning Castillano Spanish. That said, this audio course is fantastic! It introduces words and puts them together in short phrases, changing the “person”, the “gender” and “number” little by little and gives sufficient repetition, without being at all boring. The vowel changes which are so important to the Spanish language are said really clearLy. It is so easy to stop the recording to practice saying aloud the phrase being worked on., and I do this a lot, This is so important to me because it is the only course I have come across where I can practice getting my mouth and tongue around actually speaking the language. And the course is so patient and encouraging. Each chapter builds on the one before yet introduces new concepts of the grammar. It does not deal with grammar ostensibly but it builds spoken Spanish up in a grammatical way. It teaches language as if it were a calm native speaker at your side so you learn it almost as you learned your mother tongue - but not quite. I am now concentrating more on my aural and oral skills which is obviously a very good thing, thanks to this course. I have been learning Spanish for twelve years and I am living in Spain. I am glad I learned so much grammar before and it is useful when it comes to understanding the progression in this course, but I used to have to think about the grammatical elements of everything I said, and how labored that was! Finally I am speaking more confidently and fluently using this course. I have bought all three levels. I have finished levels 2 and 3 and am now starting on the basic level to help oil the wheels and eradicate my early mistakes. Well done - a great audio course!

I have had to stick at this bundle, but worth it!
At first I did not like this because I found it very hard to hear some of the words, clearly, even when repeated. Listening over again three times, I have worked out most of the pronunciation, but not all. I know that seeing lips forming words is a great help, but even so, I have still had to refer to the text in the .pdf on occasion. Granted that Spanish is lispy and breathy! But, what I can say is that the sentences are broken up to aid learning well, something that I did not like at first, and it works! Then the use of the words is repeated often enough over time that I have picked up quite a large vocabulary and have moved on in the last few weeks. Paul Noble did make learning easier for me personally, as it was slower but less like normal speech, and I found this a much tougher ask! The main thing is that I have learned the tenses of the verbs without any formal drilling, have felt that the integration of pronouns has been diverse and useful and have probably progressed further than I expected in being able to understand fluent conversation. I have only been learning Spanish for months! Great bundle! This really needs updating though as who goes out to rent a movie these days etc.!

helped me to improve but strange sentences
the concept of listen and repeat whilst adjusting the sentence was helpful and clear voices too. however the sentences need to be more meaningful . many of the sentences were absolutely strange e.g. my grandfather bought as many screwdrivers as nails. or my breasts (Yes! not chest) are bigger than hers. or I've got bigger ankles than She does. but so much in this package to learn the grammar easily I think so o have mixed feelings

I highly reccomened
I highly recommend this audiobook for anyone looking to enhance their Spanish skills. Very well planned and formatted. You learn very quickly and they're not too fast. Things are carefully repeated at a good pace to help you pick things up quick. Do it in half hour blocks over a month and you'll be sweet.

Helpful and enjoyable!
I have been working my way through this (intermediate Spanish bundle) after the Beginners Spanish Bundle. I find them both useful for practising my ways of thinking in Spanish. And improving my vocabulary. I have especially enjoyed listening to it on long walks, so I can relax and let the learning soak in while being active.

A great audiobook
I’ve struggled to find books which are truly on the intermediate level and don’t just cover the basics.
This book is great. Not basic and not too difficult so as to feel disaffected. It’s challenging but not out of reach and a really long length so really good value for an audible credit. I’ve been listening in the car for a number of weeks and can re-listen to it again now that I’ve finished it.
I can recommend this audiobook for anyone who already knows the basics and wants to go to the next level.

Brilliant the best online course I have found
Excellent course, as an early intermediate learning tenses at home, I skipped the first one of these and went straight to this one. I use it on a slower speed, it’s great for gently practising using present/ preterite/imperfect/perfect of verbs in the same chapter. The PDF transcript means I can check spellings afterwards, or words which I just don’t catch or understand. Grammatical constructions, pronouns etc etc are introduced and repeated naturally. I’m only on chapter 7 so far and aim to do 1 chapter a day, it’s building up vocabulary, tenses, grammar and pronunciation really well. What more could you ask for?

Perfect
I've been bumbling along for years trying to improve my Spanish. This is the best course I have found. It ticks all the boxes for me.
There is no substitute for speaking out loud, and this course has you talking all the time. Its philosophy of listen
speak repeat repeat repeat is spot on. I feel I'm moving forward at last.

Fast-paced and covers a lot of material
This is a good follow-on to the LSLC Level 1. It continues at a quick pace and introduces tons of new material each lesson.
It can be quite frustrating as the fast pace and the slurring of the female actor makes it very difficult at times to hear the verb endings, even with it slowed down.
I find that there are several parts where I have to check in the transcript - sometimes I've found that I have been practising the incorrect verb endings, so had to repeat the lesson with the knowledge of the correct ending. This was very annoying on the lessons covering the imperitive/commands.
Overall though, it is excellent value and covers an enormous amount of material, but you do have to stick with it and repeat lessons/look things up/check spelling etc.
Not sure if I'll ever need to tell a friend that my grand-father has bought more hammers than nails from the iron-mongers though ;-)

Only one drawback in my opinion
My review of Intermediate Spanish Bundle makes my third review of an audiobook by this author. I am a member of an audiobook club and this is one of the audiobooks that was recently listed. We are required to reveal in our reviews that we received the audiobook at no charge in exchange for an honest review.
Although I would not consider myself an expert in this field, I have been studying foreign languages for at least 30 years and have achieved either fluency or semi fluency in several languages. In my opinion, this is one of the better intermediate level programs compared to several of the intermediate or even advanced level audio programs that I have tried. There are several good or great things about this audiobook and one drawback. I will start out with the good and the great.
One of the main benefits is that the method of instruction is very intriguing and it will keep you alert and leave you wanting to practice more. Another plus is that this audiobook only features native Spanish speakers which I consider a huge benefit because it guarantees that I learn how to correctly pronounce all of the different words and phrases in the Spanish language.
But what stands out the most about this audiobook is that it takes complex areas of Spanish grammar and simplifies them. This is just what an intermediate level learner needs. I never personally had a problem understanding how the Spanish verb "gustar" functions. But I have met many English speakers learning Spanish who struggle to understand how the verb works. I believe that the poor understanding stems from the fact that so many Spanish programs make the mistake of treating the Spanish verb "gustar" as if it were the English verb "to like."
But this audiobook does not make that mistake. In addition to an accurate explanation of how the verb "gustar" works in Spanish, this audiobook also gives you lots of drills and exercises so that you learn to grasp and understand the verb "gustar" in the same way a native Spanish speaker would. That is, that the verb “gustar” means "to be pleasing to."
There are also several lessons in this bundle that helped me to learn more about some other intermediate Spanish grammar topics. For example, commands, including commands with pronouns and plural commands. Plural commands meaning when you are giving a command to more than one person. I also got to practice and reinforce the "hay que plus infinitive" structure. That's the grammatical structure in Spanish that is used to express the idea of "one must do something" or, "it is necessary to do something."
The only drawback of this Intermediate Spanish Bundle is that the author attempted to cover too much ground in this audio bundle of 19 hours and 35 minutes. For me it would have been more effective if the author had taken this audiobook and created two completely separate bundles with each bundle having about 19 to 20 hours each. For example, Intermediate Spanish Bundle One and Intermediate Spanish Bundle Two. By doubling or increasing the repetition of the drills and exercises this could have been stretched into two separate bundles without sacrificing the quality of the lessons.

Mastery of intermediate/advanced grammar
This lesson plan is a continuation of the beginner level (lessons 1 to 30). It picks up at lesson 31 and uses the same teaching method just more advanced vocabulary and more advanced grammar than the previous 30 lessons. Well the grammar is more advanced. In fact, I'd describe the grammar in this bundle program as intermediate/advanced and I'd describe the vocabulary as beginner/intermediate. Since the teaching method is the same as in the beginner level, if you didn't like the beginner level you will not like this. And if you liked the beginner level you'll also like this intermediate bundle. Needless to say, I really liked the beginner level otherwise I would not have invested in the intermediate level. So that I don't spoil it all for you, I'll just tell you what's covered in the first ten lessons:
31. Expressing the future using ir a plus infinitive
32. Comparisons and names of body parts
33. More comparisons and names of farm animals
34. More comparisons and names of hardware tools
35. Conclusion of comparisons and introduction to "The Spanish Conditional"
36. "The Spanish Conditional" continued ó
37. "The Spanish Conditional" continued ó
38. The Conditional Perfect
39. The Conditional Perfect
40. Commands
Saludos y buena suerte!

Spanish subjunctive demystified
This program is the first and only Spanish program I have found that clarifies when and how to use the Spanish subjunctive. I have struggled to understand when and how to use the Spanish subjunctive, especially, with Spanish phrases expressing possibility. Gracias to this program, using the Spanish subjunctive is now a lot easier for me. Another added bonus to this program is that I am hearing and repeating after native Spanish speakers. So at the same time, while I am learning to master the Spanish subjunctive and other areas of intermediate Spanish, I am also learning how to pronounce like a native Spanish speaker.

Difficult Spanish grammar topics made simple
I have purchased and reviewed maybe 4 or 5 audio programs from this same author and this is probably my favorite. Why?
Because it does such a wonderful job of taking the most challenging areas of Spanish grammar and making them very easy for a native English speaker to understand. And without giving you the feeling that you are learning grammar in a classroom setting. In fact, when I am learning Spanish grammar with this program I feel more like I’m just learning conversational Spanish as opposed to learning the rules or structure of a language.
I will now go over some of the topics or areas of Spanish grammar that are covered in this program . One topic that is covered is the “conditional” tense in Spanish. And that teaches how to say phrases in Spanish such as:
If I were to win the lottery, I would do X or Y.
Or
If I were rich, I would do X or Y.
There also a couple of lessons which taught me the “conditional perfect” tense in Spanish as opposed to just the “conditional” tense in Spanish. And by learning how to properly use the “conditional tense” in Spanish, I now know how to express myself if I want to say phrases like:
I would’ve spoken
She would have walked.
They would have hired him.
We would’ve invited more people to the party, etc.
I also feel very comfortable using plural commands in Spanish now. So instead of only being able to tell just one person to be seated I can now tell several people to be seated. And instead of only being able to just one person to be quiet, I now know how to tell two or more people to be quiet.
Another thing that really impresses me about this program is that there is so much content for your money. Besides the 30 audio lessons which make up the core part of the program there also 10 bonus lessons which teach intermediate or advanced topics of conversational Spanish.
But I think what I like most about this program is the fact that it does such an awesome job of teaching the Spanish subjunctive. And the Spanish subjunctive is one area of Spanish grammar that has really frustrated me in the past. I’m still far from an expert when it comes to using the Spanish subjunctive but after using this program I do feel a lot more comfortable using the Spanish subjunctive.

Vast, But Inefficient With Your Time
There is almost no explanation of anything. In the approximately 15 hours of lessons, there are perhaps 2 minutes total of explanation. Therefore I don't see how this could be considered as an effective teaching tool. However, if you had already previously learned, by some other effective teaching methods, the grammar that they cover, this does present examples of quite a bit of it. It does serve, therefore, as a good review of what you've already learned elsewhere. This is only because the unexplained samples they present serve as a queue to have you think back to what you've already learned, and then think through, and reason out in your own mind what they're presenting. You'll be saying, "Oh yeah, I remember when I learned that. I think I know what they're doing here. That's the conditional verb tense. Why didn't they mention that?" Without having already learned the grammar, you're just a ship without a rudder in the midst of a storm. Over my 10 years studying Spanish as a hobby, I've taken probably 15 different Spanish courses. This is easily the course with the least amount of explanation of anything. Although it serves as a good review, it is extremely inefficient with your time in doing that, explained later in this review.
Its approach is to present incessant, mind numbing, time wasting repetition of simple things.
Example: They spent 38 seconds covering that in Spanish, the word ‘email’ translates to ‘correo electrónico’. They kept repeating it over and over. 38 seconds for that!
Vocabulary, in general, is more basic than intermediate. Believe it or not, they presented the translation of Christmas - Navidad. Who, at the intermediate level, doesn't already know this? I’m upper-intermediate, and I already knew 95-98% of the vocabulary presented. The above ‘email’ translation is another such an example.
Everything done by examples without explanation. For example, they present numerous sentences using the imperfect subjunctive without ever mentioning the term imperfect subjunctive, either in English or Spanish.
The English speaking narrator, while usually clear, at times swallows words. There were a number of occasions when I had to listen to the Spanish translation to figure out what he said in English. However, the native Spanish speakers were excellent. They were very clear in everything they said.
The lesson on the subjunctive was akin to trying to teach someone how to be a complete mathematician by only performing 30 very similar long divisions on the white board without a word of explanation. This is very much the way that everything was presented. So I have to wonder about the reviewers who claimed that this book really, finally, made things clear to them about the subjunctive when other courses hadn’t. Additionally, only a small portion of the subjunctive mood was addressed, and again only through examples, without any real explanation of anything. There are entire books written on the subjunctive. What was presented here was a modicum of the subjunctive. There is some good in that that some reviewers feel that they've mastered it by listening to this book. They've learned something useful and important. But at the same time, they should realize that this was like an art student walking through a gallery showing only a couple of styles of art from a narrow window in history. It doesn't turn that person into a master in all art forms. There's lots more to the subjunctive than what is presented in this book.
Finally, while the approach is quite inefficient, the volume of material is vast. 15 hours by my quick calculation. So I think everybody could learn, or relearn something with this book. But in the same amount of time, one could have learned a lot more by using other books instead.

Exactly what I was looking for
I have been wanting to learn the Spanish subjunctive for a really long time. Although the main program consists of 35 audio Spanish lessons with each lesson lasting about 30 minutes, there are 10 lessons that are specifically designed to teach everything about the Spanish subjunctive. From the Spanish subjunctive mood when expressing desire or preference, Spanish subjunctive using phrases such as "es mejor que" and "es necesario que", Spanish subjunctive with phrases expressing possibility, all the way to the Spanish subjunctive substituting the infinitive with the subjunctive mood. This program is exactly what I needed to help me learn the Spanish subjunctive. Another thing I really like about this Spanish program is that there are 10 bonus Spanish lessons (lessons A to J) which cover a lot of colloquial Spanish.

poorly organized
I think this language course is poorly organized, not too logical. Additionally, the female speaker does not enunciate well, leaving me frustrated as to correct pronunciation. Concepts are not explained and there is not nearly enough repetition. I do not recommend this.

Crazy Learning
This bundle is very fast paced and at times the female speaker is difficult to understand. Her words are spoken so rapidly that as a learner of Spanish, it's difficult to understand what she's saying. It would be good if there were excercises/tests you could do at the end of each lesson to see how much you are retaining. Some written material with vocabulary and verb conjugations would also be helpful.

I really like it
It is a fairly interesting way to learn Spanish. I hated Pimsleur because it seemed like it was very repetitive, boring, and didn't really teach much by the end of the lesson. However, I liked the principle of listening and repeating conversational Spanish, and this book seems to do it well (I'm only 15 chapters in as of this review).

Nicely done
Challenging, nicely paced, and intermediate, true. But you can speed it up or slow it down to match each section to your needs. There's enough in each section to give you the jist of that tense or grammatical element. I sped some up a bit and worked orhers at 60% speed ... it's a long course, good value! I'll listen to it again.
