Summary

Contrary to what most people believe, Lean Six Sigma is not just applicable in the manufacturing industry. It is a process that can be used effectively in most organizations, even in the service industry. A lot of companies have embraced Lean Six Sigma today and are doing well against their competition.

It is easy to look at Lean Six Sigma from the perspective of what the company can gain from your expertise, and overlook the personal contribution that these classes will have in your life. On your career growth path, Lean Six Sigma is something that will make you a desirable employee in your organization or take a leap of faith and consider a career in consulting. Whichever the case, your certification will get you places, more so if you have attained master black belt status.

The information contained in this book should act as a guideline that will set you on the right path to success. Even if you get to master black belt level, nothing comes easy. You will still encounter a few challenges, and it helps to have a backup plan, which can be useful when you need to reboot the plan and start from the basics. This audiobook gives you the foundation of Lean Six Sigma, upon which you can chart the course for your future in management.

An outstanding scheme matters most

An outstanding scheme matters most when it comes to running an organization, thus reducing defect which can be a potent risk. One of the possible ways to reduce the risk of defect is to use Six Sigma. It has been wonderful and productive so far.
