Leadership in a changing world!!

First of all look at the real situation then make sure about the expectation or the outcome that we expect and adapt a method to reach the goal. We should seek our own self interest big the common good be The best book on leadership I have read thus far. I love how they differentiate between the technical and adaptive. First time I have come across such an explanation

Great value for time and money!!

When I first bought the book I thought I had made a mistake as I intended to get a book to help me deal with difficult people in my life yet the author kept referring to narcissists. I contacted the author to tell her that I didn’t know any narcissists and that this book was not useful to me.

The Difinitive Book on Leadership!!

This book was assigned for one for my graduate classes in educational administration. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this book is. I have taken multiple course since that early one, and by far, this is the book that I cite the most over and over again in my writings. It reminds me a bit of The Purpose Driven Life as it's easy to read just one section at a time.

A book worth studying!!!!!

Great book, is very clear and direct to the point, sometimes goes to deap into de church and religión, but is basically to demonstrate a point, I really like it.I felt God nudging me to learn how to become a better leader so I searched Amazon and found this one. I read the key leadership qualities Maxwell list and had none of them. Great to have in your leadership library or as a stocking stuffer....give to coworkers, team members or for young and older leaders.

Solid Update for a Leadership Classic

Some familiarity from other works, but through every event I can see opportunities to learn and grow. It is both simple and complex, revealing layers of depth for dedicated students and practitioners of leadership.

Really extraordinary book

The key take away is that leadership is something you grow into not born with, each of these role models grew into their leadership roles through adversity and with intestinal fortitude. The lessons in leadership are very interesting, but it was the last chapter that really brought it all together and made me feel that the author has really lived and breathed her research for a good portion of her life.

Useful for all of life.

Almost every paragraph in this book had me underline something. This was required for a course I took and I will read it again! So good!! The concepts in here are useful not just for the workplace, but for all of life. Very well communicated and they give good points of view from experienced people who have put these principles into practice.

Leadership grows with intestinal fortitude

To the previous reviewer. You obviously have not read the book. It has only been available for a few hours. If You at least read her introduction you would know exactly why she chose these four. It's because she has been studying these men for thirty years, and has added facts about their early life that may have influenced their leadership.

Really Solid Update for a Leadership Classic

I highly recommend the book for this reason. There's one more reason that I personally love the sixth edition of this book: the attention to me, the reader. The book is thinner and easier to hold than the last. . It is both simple and complex, revealing layers of depth for dedicated students and practitioners of leadership.

Absolutely essential...

This book is filled with the deeper insights of leadership, thriving through change, tools and strategies as well as basic humanity and compassion. Deep, well-organized and accessible although dense and rich, Adaptive Leadership is the deep nutrition that will move both you and your organization forward.

Finding balance in leadership.

That expectation may not have been fair; however, I am somewhat left short on the overall substance and impact of this book. There were some good thoughts throughout but several parts of the book were adapted directly from the Jocko Podcast. I have begun listening to the Audible version today after waiting so long since finishing Extreme Ownership.
