Summary

Leadership is the ability to inspire and motivate others toward reaching a common goal. Leaders hold a crucial responsibility in the success of a team. With the energy and the inspiration they inject into the dynamics, teams are driven to perform at their best.

Contrary to what most people believe, leadership doesn’t come from a position, a title, or even a crown. It is not who you are that makes you a leader. It’s what you do, and more importantly, it’s how you do it. Each time you make a decision about your life, you practice leadership. You actually become a leader each time you influence someone toward a certain path. Through this audiobook, you will learn the true definition of leadership, the common misconceptions, and the most valuable qualities of a true leader.

An easy-to-follow, easy-to-stick-to, truly simple approach to learning how to become a great leader that eliminates the complexity and tendency to leave listeners wanting more. If you can understand a traffic light, you can understand and apply this simple information without hard work, embarrassment, or failure.

Scroll to the top and grab the book now and quickly and easily start learning how to be a better leader!

Concise, powerful advice. Every version improves.

My pastor recommended this book to me because of some voluntary duties I had recently taken on at church. While reading the book, I could understand how leaders are everywhere even if they are not bestowed with an official title. I have loved this book since its inception. This book is your roadmap to both personal and organizational leadership. One of the best aspects of this book, is that the stories are based on everyday people doing extraordinary things.

Exellent book.

I'm a consultant and was thrown into change management position. This book has been a lifesaver. I've used it countless times to remind myself what to do and to draft materials for my client. I wish there were more in here on metrics. For a long time I thought I was a change leader. I was successful with small change projects. Excellent read and framework for change leadership and management. Wish I found and read this book ages ago. As global competition moves faster, those who can lead and manage change more effectively can have more successful outcomes. Thus, the earlier we help leaders and managers learn about how they can lead change successfully

Great book.!!

I rarely purchase hard copy text books. This one is an exception. It is a must for any professional library. I recommend that you consider purchasing this book new so you can make your own notes and use it as reference for years to come. Every student of business leadership should have this easy-to-read guide. I bought it for a class and have looked things up many times after that, used it to help a friend in another class.

A MUST LISTEN.

. I highly recommend it. It was recommended to several of our friends that are high-school teachers. Each of them purchased two copies. Personally, I find it astonishing that so few folks actually have any understanding of this part of our nations history. This was painfully clear when trying to discuss the "pentagon papers" with a few that should have known immediately what this involved. This book is fascinating as she compares Presidents of various times, their leadership styles, and how each in their own way were instrumental in moving America and its values forward in good times and bad.

This book gives realistic and relatable case studies that readers can comprehend at all levels. I would recommend this book to anyone. Very helpful for my graduate study Leadership and Ethics class. The concepts were presented in a manner that was not favorable to one theory over others and there were many helpful assessments throughout. Definitely worth keeping following the class for future reference and self evaluation

Nice book ever of leadership.

The authors have updated their classic leadership book to address all the current challenges leaders face today in a world of growing distrust, the resulting loss of credibility at the executive levels, relationship building, retention of top talent, leading through disruption and change. Almost every paragraph in this book had me underline something

This is an excellent book!!!

The first part of the book is relevant to anyone who wishes to be a better people person, but as the book progresses it becomes morphed and more prevalent that the target audience is leaders. Some of the advice is particularly targeted at church leaders but it is readily adaptable to any type if leader. The importance of achieving any goal is not about what you get but who you become in the process Open communication is importance to building trust in a team or any relationship!!!

A Powerful Guide for Future Leaders!!!

An essential reminder that employees are humans not just resources and are most likely to engage, think and perform their best if managers relate to them as "persons" and treat them with basic respect.I found this book valuable for my own research on Lincoln that I used in my recent leadership book. It is useful for anyone who wishes to be a leader of all times and ages.

Five Stars!!!!

I was halfway into reading this book when I got the survey sent to me by my boss and found out we were having a presentation at a Leadership Conference on this very material. I was thrilled and was not disappointed. As leaders, we need to start holding each other and our staff accountable, and this book teaches us how to do that and incorporate it into our daily work without it being additional work-load.
