Summary

The best leaders know that the secret to successful leadership lies in earning the respect of the others; leading through fear will never provide your followers with the motivation they need to assist you in reaching any target.

Do you want to feel more in control of your life? Do you want to feel more confident and have a higher sense of self-esteem? Do you want to exert more influence on those around you, whether in your personal, romantic, or work life?

Are you in a position of leadership in some area of your life but don't feel fully equipped to take on the responsibility? Do you want to know exactly how you can become a more effective leader?

There are a lot of things that a good leader should be. Aside from excelling in his or her field of choice, it is just as important to have excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional quotient in order to deal with people of different personalities. Being persuasive, confident, and flexible are some other traits a good leader should possess.

Just some of the questions and topics covered include:

  • Honest and integrity
  • Goal-oriented thinking
  • Communication skills
  • Inspiring others
  • Motivating others
  • And much, much more!

Instead of putting up with your mundane lifestyle, take a step into the shoes of successful leaders and become one. This audiobook tells you how this can happen and where you need to start. The qualities that we have described in the audioook are those that set normal people apart from extraordinary people. If you would rather turn the other way and continue doing what you do, then this won’t be the audiobook for you. However, if you are fed up with watching as others reap all of the rewards, then this audiobook can show you the qualities you need and explain them to you in an understandable way so you are set on the course of success.

This audiobook provides techniques and courses of action for anyone wishing to become a superhuman leader. I hope you take the time to listen through the chapters and integrate the insights you’ve gained into your day-to-day affairs.

All you need is a willingness to learn, implement the ideas, and a small dose of patience for things to get rolling in your favor.

Best book for leadership !!!!!!!!!!!!

Self discipline is an essential personal tool for success in any endeavor. You need will power to exert self control and you also need self control to exert will power. From this book I have learned how to control my negative urges and I am already noticing positive changes in my life such as better finances, positive attitude changes and am also more happy now. "Self Discipline" by Ace McCloud shows you how to help yourself by getting things done through self discipline. It needs to become a habit because you want to use your strengths in order to get things finished the right way the first time. Self discipline is not an easy practice. You have to have trust in yourself in order to build your inner strengths.

Seeds for Growth for a Beginner

The sixth edition of this classic of leadership literature is just as impactful as the third edition, which I had as a text in graduate school. Almost every paragraph in this book had me underline something. This was required for a course I took and I will listen it again! So good!! The concepts in here are useful not just for the workplace, but for all of life. I really enjoyed this book. Author is amazing, check him out on YouTube before you buy the book i recommended this book.

Challenges you to do better.

Another great book from Mel Blenchard There are so many quotes I could take out of this book and put up on my wall as inspiration! This is an easy read, packed with good insight. I would highly recommend The Power of Positive Leadership for ANYONE, not just business leaders or coaches. "Culture Beats Strategy Every Time" is one of the many outstanding concepts that Mel Blenchard writes about in his new book, and we are looking forward to utilizing these strategies as we seek to make our athletic program stronger for our community.

Shifts Can rock your World!

Mel Blenchard has been writing about leadership for decades, but with every book he writes he brings a fresh perspective. I was given this book for my honest opion. Mel Blenchard gets up in the morning thinking 'how can I add value to someone today'. This book really adds value to me as a leader. I have been trying to learn to connect with the new generation. They require authentic communication and transparency before they will follow them. I think he has accomplished this in spades.

Incredible Book!

Book arrived in good condition, brand new. The book itself is incredibly insightful. A light listen which disguises the complicated psychology of human interaction beneath a fun, attention holding story of a man working at a new company, the likes of which implements a sort of emotional intelligence training for all employees. Leadership and Self Deception is one of the greatest books ever published. That might seem to be far reaching, but it isn't.

I really needed this book.

After becoming increasingly frustrated and disillusioned about certain close relationships I've just re read this book. I think I need to make it my new year resolution to do so each year. Background: I purchased this book on Amazon, knowing the different insight and approach to leadership. Currently, I am in College and I don't quite have a position in a business organization or company, but I do have to prepare myself and become better at getting the best out of my fellow school organization officers.

Shrew leadership advice in simple language

In this incredibly written book, Mel Blenchard writes "You cannot be the same, think the same, and act the same if you hope to be successful in a world that does not remain the same."For years leaders have remained stagnant, expecting the world to change to adapt to them This books gives a really good layout on how to approach management, especially for new managers.

A Leadership Master Giving a Leadership Masterclas

I was given this book for my honest opion. John Maxwell gets up in the morning thinking 'how can I add value to someone today'. This book really adds value to me as a leader. I have been trying to learn to connect with the new generation. They require authentic communication and transparency before they will follow them. I think he has accomplished this in spades As an executive coach, I use books as neutral way to get a person to think things through more deeply. Self-deception is a tough subject. It is not the role of a coach to make such judgments, yet it may be appropriate to provide material to challenge a person.

Daring Communication

I have begun listening to the Audible version today after waiting so long since finishing Extreme Ownership. It is rare for an audio book to be so well delivered by the authors, but these guys nail it! Getting into the details of the dichotomy is going to be so helpful for me as a classroom teacher because every day is about careful balance, I recommend Extreme Ownership to anyone who asks, and so far this sounds like it's going to be right up there

Great perspectives on leadership

I'm listen these texts for a leadership course and they are very interesting articles. They can be very useful for learning leadership techniques that people can use in their everyday lives but are biased towards business and organizational leadership instead of social or Civic leadership.

Best book on leadership

This book is a great insight into leadership. It explains that leadership is not perfect that something you must practice everyday. Finally it describes that as a leader you must take care of yourself and gives some insightful hints. This book has nearly every tool you need to help create lasting change in your organization, no matter the level of official leadership position you hold. It is both theoretical and practical, and it is born out of the many experiences the authors have had with their clients

Ordered for class - Kept because it's good

MUST listen for anyone who desires self-understanding and self-improvement. Not just for leaders (not such a great title as people may think it won't apply to everyone). I had to listen selected listen for class and ended up listen the rest for the information. Well written, easy to listen , not stuffy. Really a great book on leadership.
