Summary

Dark curls and an unforgettably sweet laugh....

A trip to Hertfordshire brought Fitzwilliam Darcy face-to-face with the woman who had haunted his dreams for five years. Their chance meeting led to a courtship, in spite of those who wished to separate them. Now Elizabeth Bennet is traveling to London where she will be introduced to Darcy's family and the ton. How will Elizabeth be received? Will their love flourish and grow or will new trials overwhelm them?

Loved every second & a brilliant narrator

Book 2
No angst , no unfair misunderstandings like so many others of these books. Just pure joy & lots of detail which I adore. I love to hear about the gowns & jewels plus the London places to visit. I am a history buff & this was spot on for its time.
The villains get their just desserts & the woman are strong & resourceful.
I thought no one could beat Stevie Zimmerman but Nancy Peterson is an expert narrator & does all the voices of the characters with aplomb.
This is the 4th book that I have read by Linda Thompson & I have loved them all.

Enjoyable continuation of the story

If you've read/heard book 1 of this series, you know what you're getting here. Darcy and Elizabeth's courtship continues in London, as they make their way through the sharks of the ton and Wickham's continued villainy. I'd actually rate the story 3.5 stars, because Lizzy is a bit too weepy and it's not quite as good as book 1. Nancy Peterson's narration is average: it didn't put me off but I wouldn't seek it out.
