Summary
A poacher is at work in Sinful, Louisiana, and Deputy Carter LeBlanc is hot on the trail of the outlaw, trying to apprehend him before the state gets wind of the crime and sends a game warden to take over his investigation. Unfortunately, he's hindered every step of the way by Sinful's current mayor and all-around horrible person, Celia Arceneaux, who wants nothing more than to drive Carter to resign.
When a game warden turns up with evidence that implicates a relative of Gertie's, Carter is left with no choice but to arrest the boy, even though no one thinks he did it. With Carter under the watchful eye of Celia and the state, Fortune, Ida Belle, and Gertie decide to catch a poacher...before he gets away.

Even sillier than the last
Lots of fun again still love these gals. You never know what's going to happen next but very enjoyable.

BEST OF THE LATER BOOKS
I laughed out loud on a few places. The Louisiana Trio are back in spectacular form on the trail of local no gooders. Carter is there, but no in-your-face romance gets in the way of the story. Apart from it being so dang hot and humid out there, I even fancy a visit to the bayous.

Excellent book in every way. Flawlessly written, funny, horde of characters we all love, non stop antics and plots. If the narration was any different we would have a riot.

Another funny mystery where they are sure the wrong person has been arrested for poaching. As they investigate all hell brakes loose. Read brilliantly again by Cassandra Campbell.

Great fun
I have greatly enjoyed all 11 books in the audible collection, and am looking forward to number 12, I have the E book. I have listened to the books a number of times, and find something new to enjoy each time. May there be many more.

“Walking The Gator Like A Dog…”
That's about all you need to know about this book. If you're a fan of the Miss Fortune series, you will know exactly who was doing that! So I need tell you no more, you wouldn’t believe me anyway!
