Good fun
The characters feel both memorable and authentic, it has a slow start but the ending is great fun. Highly recommend

Han, chewie, lando, falcon
I’m about 3 to 4 hours in. Very good so far. The first guy’s narration is spot on. When it’s the other guy or lady starts their narrations it’s not so good just seems flat, quite jarring as well going from the first actor who has a good Harrison Ford and billy Dee impression to the other guy and lady just reading it out loud.

Best shot
Glorious production - excitingly written and wonderfully performed - particularly Marc Thompson's range of characters - such a great Han - and January LaVoy's incredible L3. Special mention to Daniel José Older's wonderful narration talent - as well as the exciting and rich story he's woven.

Worthy addition to the Star Wars canon
The storytelling performances were excellent, it develops Han and lando really well. If only L3 was more like she was in this story than the awful character she was in the recent solo movie. All in all great addition to the recent Star Wars canon

Worst new novel terrible narration
When author narrates his style mucks up the telling of th story and sounds like a wanna be lando more than a han

Amateur narration ruins it.
Author narration and intonation all sounds the same. Totally ruins the experience. Marc/Jan are great.

Great fun!
Great fun throughout. Started it (and nearly finished it) before Solo came out in the cinema and while it is not linked, the extension of the characters is fantastic and true. Great listen for any Star Wars fan.

A good production, middling story though
Huge Han fan and loved the Solo movie so was massively excited for this, the performance and audio is great and it does have some great moments about Han dealing with fatherhood but the story just wasn't gripping for me, almost would have preferred a collection of adventures over this.
Worth a listen though but not the best out there
