This was my first audiobook and it won't be my last. I did find it odd at first, being read to, but I soon became accustomed. The plot was witty and pacey, keeping the reader wanting to know what happens next. I will now read more by this author.

This is a decent story, with likeable characters, who navigate the problems life throws in adversity. Friendship, relationships & family dynamics are explored when a tragedy occurs. Life can be full of love & laughter...but painfully cruel & challenging too. This audiobook was nice, easy read that gripped you from the first chapter. Enjoyed it muchly.

I laughed and I cried while listening to this audio book, even had to explain why I arrived at work with tears in my eyes! Brilliant book, I’ll be looking for more by this author.
