If anyone's body parts go missing, I had nothing to do with it. Laces is the culprit. Welcome to Hawthorne Asylum. Welcome to hell. This place isn't run by the doctors who make you talk or the orderlies who force you to swallow your pills. It belongs to them, to the infamous four. Tabloids, talk shows, documentaries - their faces have been plastered everywhere. Not because of their impressive rap sheets, but because of how they look. And when I arrive, they take notice. Especially their king: Lincoln "Laces" Caster. He's dark and disturbed. He's controlling and possessive. Exactly the kind of boy I should stay away from if I want to clear my name and get out of here.

From USA Today best-selling author Tempi Lark comes an asylum dramedy romance unlike anything you've listened to before. Due to some strong language and triggering scenes, it is recommended for mature listeners.

The narrators really tell this story amazingly, there voices matched the characters impeccable and made you feel everything needed for a good book. I can say whole heartedly that this book was written very well, I was glued to my screen for the 4 hours it took to read/listen to this book. I can't wait for the rest of the series and such a different consepted (an asylum). It is witty and dark themes but I have read much darker this was a good balanced start to what I hope to be my new favourite series. Definitely give it a try.

One sitting kind of read ❤️❤️
