"J'avais du mal à écrire ; je tournais en rond. Mes personnages me procuraient un vertige d'ennui. J'ai pensé que n'importe quel récit réel aurait plus d'intérêt. Je pouvais descendre dans la rue, arrêter la première personne venue, lui demander de m'offrir quelques éléments biographiques, et j'étais à peu près certain que cela me motiverait davantage qu'une nouvelle invention. M'a laissée sur ma faim..

Autant j'aime DF, autant j'ai trouvé ce roman un peu trop facile, au niveau de l'histoire et du style littéraire. En réalité, je n'y ai pas vraiment retrouvé DF dedans. Oui, il y a des pistes de réflexion, de bonnes anecdotes, mais ce livre ne m'a pas tant satisfaite, je reste sur ma faim d'une œuvre à part entière de DF. Le prochain j'espère !
