Summary

Todo comienza la mañana en que Casasola, periodista de nota roja, encuentra el cadáver de un hombre degollado por una prostituta, amarrado a la cama de un motel. El reportero se ve involucrado en el misterioso caso de una asesina, que mata a sus clientes durante el acto sexual, y es capaz de imitar las voces que están dentro de la cabeza de sus víctimas. Siguiendo la pista de "la asesina de los moteles" Casasola y el Griego, un veterano fotógrafo, descubrirán, con asombro, que no es un simple caso para la prensa amarillista.

Están ante algo mucho más complejo: las personas actúan de manera extraña, como es el caso de Olga, la ex mujer de Casasola, que no deja de buscar la luz de las bombillas, o de Taboada, un científico recluido en un hospital psiquiátrico, al que le gusta comer libros viejos. ¿Será que los seres humanos se están empezando a comportar como insectos?
