Stacey McKinley doesn't have to love what she does, she just has to do it. She's in Fairhaven to collect from a mark, some sucker who got in way over his head with the wrong people. Kurt is the third book in the Bear Dating Agency. While all are standalone, you get glimpses of previous couples' HEAs in Kurt. Also, Ben's book hinted at Kurt's gambling problem. Stacey meets Kurt when she's sent to collect his debt. While it's nice that Becca Fanning explores a deeper issue with gambling addiction it just barely scratches the surface of addictions and why/how they occurs. While Kurt wasn't as formulaic it still is. And it really skimps on Stacey and Kurt getting to know each other. I'll finish this series (since I already have all the audiobooks) but I probably won't seek out more Becca Fanning books.
