What a great book! The author did a fantastic job explaining dementia. Since my mother, brother, and I share a home. My mother has dementia, which makes it more difficult to care for her and understand her, but I now feel like I can do both of those things better after listening to this amazing guide. We appreciate the author's wonderful efforts. Plus, the narrator's voice was soothing; his voice makes this audiobook peaceful.

Really helpful guide

Anyone can use the knowledge in this book for down the road when your loved ones are getting older. Being able to identify dementia at an early stage is crucial, thats why Chapter 4 was my favourite. This book is packed with useful information and its good to know just in case if you ever need to use it for one of your loved ones

Caring for a loved one with dementia is a task that requires good physical and mental fitness. Having taken care of his mother and having accompanied her until the very end, the author explains the 7 stages of the evolution of the disease. However, there is no possible cure, but its development can be delayed with a healthy lifestyle. Certain foods support the maintenance of a healthy brain, such as omega 3s, leafy vegetables, olive oil and avocados. The deterioration of symptoms can also be delayed by the practice of playful physical and mental activities. You will learn a lot about the needs of a person with dementia, such as the need for calm and a daily routine.

I recommend it.
