Summary

Charge into this hilarious and totally bonkers new series from BAFTA award-winning duo, The Brothers McLeod - perfect for fans of Wimpy Kid, Tom Gates and Mr Gum.

Knight Sir Louis is the bravest knight at King Burt's court. He has defeated hungry dragons, evil goblins and horrible wizards (but please nobody mention wasps, Knight Sir Louis is absolutely NOT afraid of them). Along with his trusty mechanical steed Clunkalot, and mystical sword (known as 'Dave'), Knight Sir Louis and his friends are sent to do battle with the Damsel of Distresse, who has been terrorizing the land.

But nothing is as it seems .

Knight Sir Louis finds himself dealing with strong enchantments and powerful magic (as well as potatoes...) and the machinations of his soon to be arch-enemy-nemesis: the Stripy Knight.

(N.B. No potatoes were harmed in the writing of this book.)

Delightfully silly

Excellent performance and story which is delightfully silly but wonderfully clever, weaving together elements of the story at the climax!

A rip-roaring jamboree for your ear-holes!

Our 3 and 5-year-old have been glued to the sofa this afternoon as they've listened to the whole Knight Sir Louis audiobook in one sitting. There has been everything from giggles to belly laughs to shouting out along with silly lines of dialogue! They've immediately wanted to listen to the next book, The Dragon of Dooooom, as an audiobook straight away after.

The performance is ace, lots of different voices and sound effects really bring the story to life. It's felt like the equivalent of a classic Saturday morning cartoon, but for your ears!

It's an absolute no-brainer-must-listen-what-are-you-waiting-for-no-really-go-and-listen-to-it-right-away, 5-Star, Thumbs-up, whole-hearted recommendation! Our family cannot wait for the next installment. Please hurry up and get recordning!

Brilliantly read and designed for young listeners.

My 5 and 8 year old loved it. We listened to it over 2 sittings on a car journey. My 8 year old particularly was hooked.

Hugely entertaining!

A thoroughly engrossing adventure with more than a hint of Monty Python silliness about it! Pure escapist madness with laugh-out-loud moments liberally scattered throughout, and wonderfully narrated with a diverse range of accents to bring the characters to life. Highly recommended
