I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this collection of columns by the late great Rachel Cooke. She was unafraid of having an opinion but never mean when sharing it. The selection really tells a story of how the food world has developed over the years.

It is also performed with a skill and wit that some authors fail to deliver.
