I fell in love with the characters and felt so invested in the relationship between kaden and Gareth.

In my opinion this book wasn’t as good as “god of fury” which had some similar subject matter, I feel like Kayden was a bit too flat of a character in the beginning of the book, and Gareth showed more character in the other books than in his own.
It was kind of a turnaround and I’m not really sure if I’m satisfied with how the story went.
Gottta sleep on it I think.

I won’t lie this one was very hard to rate. I loved and I mean I really loved most of this book but I disliked a few things as well. But thinking about it now, the things I loved outweighed the bad.
My favourite Rina book is God of Fury so was worried this wouldn’t measure up, take away the plot and the background, the romance measures up completely.
This was is definitely on the dark troupe side. I would check triggers warning before you read if you haven’t already.

The cast for this was beautifully chosen. Grayson Owens and Stephen Dexter absolutely knocked this one out of the park! Perfectly suited to their respective characters and I was hooked on every word from the moment I hit play. They had me blushing, laughing, crying and the amount of time I had to pause to squeal and kick my feet over the way in which certain lines were narrated and even just at the presence of some of the narrators themselves was insane. Loved the little cameos from other characters as well - I've almost finished my listen through of the Royal Elite series, but this is making me want to go and re-listen to all of LOG again.
My brain is complete mush now that it's over, and honestly I'm sad I'll never get to experience this story for the first time again. RK also teasing us with the crumbs for Hunt the Villain and Beautiful Venom has me yearning. An absolute masterpiece as always! Expect some heavy content, spicy smut, perfectly placed humorous moments, and just the right level of unhinged. Check the content warnings before diving in.
