About this listen

Every kiss is a sin.

"Giving into temptation might not just ruin Kenny... It could kill him."

Aaron has spent his life running from intimacy, but when his professor, Dr Kenneth Lyons, broke through his defences last year, only to push him away, the sting of rejection left an indelible mark. He’s determined to win him back and prove their connection is more than just forbidden heat. But when danger lurks in every touch, and even a single kiss becomes deadly, Aaron might not survive long enough to prove he’s worth the risk.

Kenny knows he shouldn’t want his student. Resisting Aaron has already cost him pieces of himself he can’t recover. Torn between his career and the man who’s stolen his heart, Kenny struggles to keep his distance. But when Aaron becomes the target of a ruthless killer, the fragile lines Kenny drew between them blur. And he’s forced to face the truth. Protecting Aaron could destroy his future… or shatter his soul.

As a series of brutal murders pulls them deeper into a web of danger, Aaron and Kenny are forced to confront the darkest shadows of Aaron’s past and the devastating legacy binding them together.

With their forbidden bond igniting into an all-consuming blaze, they must decide: in a world where trust is a death sentence and love could cost them everything, how far are they willing to go to save each other?

Kiss Me Honey Honey is the gripping second installment in the To Love a Psycho trilogy where passion and peril collide.

This is the second book in the series. These need to be read in order.

Kenny and Aaron are much more intense in this part of the story. I enjoyed getting more into their backgrounds and what they are willing to give up for each other.

The bad part is waiting on the next part. Even though this ends at a HFN, this author knows how to stop at a point that makes me grit my teeth wanting to get the rest of the story.

Gripping

This series has me in an absolute chokehold! This installment is a bit different as we start the book with a prologue from the POV of the killer, so we get a bit more insight to who they might be & their motivations sprinkled thru the book compared to book one. But it was still super engaging to read Kenny & Aaron work thru clues & histories to try and solve the case all while epically falling to stay away from each other.

As far as the romance goes- MY GAWD THE TENSION IS THICCCCCC!!! Phew yall I strongly recommend these audiobooks bc Piers Ryman adds such a great extra layer to the tension between Aaron and Kenny. Normally age gap/professor-student isn’t really my thing but these two are so believable in how down bad they are for each other, it was just delicious.

I cannot wait for the next book to be out in audio!

Best series of the year!

I love this audiobook. Piers Ryman makes the spicy scenes steaming hot.

Kiss me Honey Honey begins where Dream a Little Dream left off. Kenny returns from Greece and, although he has missed Aaron desperately, tries to maintain the boundaries he has established with him. The tension between them is intense. As Aaron tries to break Kenny's disciplined, professional distance, Kenny finds it increasingly difficult to resist his own forbidden feelings for his student.

Once again, a murder keeps everyone at Ryston University on the edge of their seats. The new case Kenny is working on with Jack is particularly perfidious.

I love the mix of suspenseful murder mystery and forbidden love. C.F. White takes us back into the psychological depths of serial killers and their victims in this gripping thriller.

The development of the relationship between Kenny and Aaron is emotionally challenging and highly erotic. Both are very complex personalities with enormous magnetizing potential. I definitely need more of them. The sneak peek at the next book in the series makes the wait for it almost unbearable!

Very exciting 😊

Another cracking book from Ms. White. Kiss Me Honey is the follow up to thriller, Dream A Little Dream, and it totally lives up to the first book. Once again we have Aaron a victim of circumstance, totally misunderstood by those around him, except for Kenny, who is still doing his best to stay away from Aaron. However, through CF's writing, it's clear that there's a magnetic pull between them, and a sense of shared isolation that binds them together. Aaron is such a lonely and broken young man, who is obviously yearning for a connection, and he's found that in Kenny.

Once again, the plot is dark, the emotional clout of the story is immense. I could have cried for Aaron, he's so vulnerable, I love how Kenny cares for him, and shows how much he loves him through his actions. I did guess the baddie fairly early on in the plot, but it didn't take away from the story in the slightest. I found myself empathising with the villain, and once again as I was reading, felt quite tearful as I read his story. It's so sad 😢

This story is even more thrilling and emotional than the first book, the plot twists and turns every few pages, making it nearly impossible to put down. I'm totally hooked, and cannot wait for the last in the series, which CF nicely setsup

Loved the ebook, made even better through the narration. Piers Ryman really has a knack for getting into the characters heads. Did a first class job.

The emotional bond between the MCs is outstanding

If possible, this book dragged me in even more than the first one. I am obsessed with them as much as they are obsessed with each other. And there were so many revelations in this second instalment, I seriously need to get my ears on book three as soon as possible. Meanwhile I will continue to cheerfully freak out everyone around me by singing the songs that are each chapter’s titles and telling them all about the psycho killers in this story…
In this second book, the relationship between Aaron and Kenny changes, deepens and they become even more connected and obsessed with each other. They have no way of staying away from one another, and that’s as exciting as it is dangerous.
The book is intriguing and mesmerising, I just couldn’t put it down!
As usual, I ove Piers Ryman!

I am in awe of this series!
