About this listen
Every kiss is a sin.
"Giving into temptation might not just ruin Kenny... It could kill him."
Aaron has spent his life running from intimacy, but when his professor, Dr Kenneth Lyons, broke through his defences last year, only to push him away, the sting of rejection left an indelible mark. He’s determined to win him back and prove their connection is more than just forbidden heat. But when danger lurks in every touch, and even a single kiss becomes deadly, Aaron might not survive long enough to prove he’s worth the risk.
Kenny knows he shouldn’t want his student. Resisting Aaron has already cost him pieces of himself he can’t recover. Torn between his career and the man who’s stolen his heart, Kenny struggles to keep his distance. But when Aaron becomes the target of a ruthless killer, the fragile lines Kenny drew between them blur. And he’s forced to face the truth. Protecting Aaron could destroy his future… or shatter his soul.
As a series of brutal murders pulls them deeper into a web of danger, Aaron and Kenny are forced to confront the darkest shadows of Aaron’s past and the devastating legacy binding them together.
With their forbidden bond igniting into an all-consuming blaze, they must decide: in a world where trust is a death sentence and love could cost them everything, how far are they willing to go to save each other?
Kiss Me Honey Honey is the gripping second installment in the To Love a Psycho trilogy where passion and peril collide.

Of course, CF’s words gave Piers the great manuscript to deliver. CF’s creativity knows no bounds, and she certainly gave herself a lot to work with when she created Aaron and Kenny. The relationship between these two has always been destined for disaster. Kenny is the professor – Aaron is the student. Kenny (supposedly) has his stuff together – Aaron can barely make it to class. Kenny is sophisticated and accomplished – Aaron is really just starting out in life and hasn’t yet made a name for himself. Finally, Kenny consulted on the serial murder case that landed Aaron’s parents in jail and him into care with a new identity.
So – beyond opposites attract and age gap.
And yet…they still sort of work. Aaron calls Kenny out on his bull and Kenny does much the same for Aaron. They can be their true authentic selves with each other.
Then the murders.
Now, I don’t want to give too much away, but the thriller/mystery aspect of this book was really good and, like the first one in the series, I was riveted. I didn’t guess who the culprit was, and yet it made total sense when all was revealed.
I will say the student/teacher aspect of the relationship bothers me a tad, but this is fiction and I can let go of some of my vigilance. Let go and enjoy a really good book.
Can’t wait for the next one!

Wow, I love CF Whites' books and her writing, but in this series she has outdone herself.
The depth of knowledge in the story shows how much research she has done; it's remarkable. If you like CSI-type books, this is for you. I love this series and would highly recommend it to everyone.
This book has depth and compassion, but if you are familiar with CF White's books, you will realise that all her characters have that added extra: they all have great, believable backstories.
Piers Ryman did a fantastic job narrating this book, and I was entranced throughout. Easy and clear narration. I did speed up to 1.10 on Audible, which is my norm, although Piers is one of the rare narrators I can listen to at normal speed; what an enjoyable experience.

He feels he's too old and also it crosses boundaries because he's his professor.
Aaron is still trying to deal with issues of intimacy and emotions, mainly jealousy, when it comes to Kenny.
To that end he tries dating Tyler, but it just doesn't work and fizzles out.
Aaron is also now caught in the crosshairs of a serial killer and Kenny definitely can't stay away.
The action and danger are ramping up and I can't wait for more from this series.
Piers Ryman did an amazing job narrating and bringing these characters to life.
Great continuation of the series

I love this audiobook. Piers Ryman makes the spicy scenes steaming hot.
Kiss me Honey Honey begins where Dream a Little Dream left off. Kenny returns from Greece and, although he has missed Aaron desperately, tries to maintain the boundaries he has established with him. The tension between them is intense. As Aaron tries to break Kenny's disciplined, professional distance, Kenny finds it increasingly difficult to resist his own forbidden feelings for his student.
Once again, a murder keeps everyone at Ryston University on the edge of their seats. The new case Kenny is working on with Jack is particularly perfidious.
I love the mix of suspenseful murder mystery and forbidden love. C.F. White takes us back into the psychological depths of serial killers and their victims in this gripping thriller.
The development of the relationship between Kenny and Aaron is emotionally challenging and highly erotic. Both are very complex personalities with enormous magnetizing potential. I definitely need more of them. The sneak peek at the next book in the series makes the wait for it almost unbearable!
Very exciting 😊
