very very interesting

It is just a lot lot more than kink and erotica. In fact it's more about the mechanics behind kink than the kinky bits themselves. Very informative and very very interesting.

Interesting and engaging.

Enjoyed listening to this series. More in depth than most shows on the radio or TV go. Takes a light hearted look at so called kinks and fetishes at the same time as managing to deal with the questions and answers in a mature way. A few interviews and case studies help give you an insight into the scene. Would like to have heard more.

Seems very naive, shallow and even biased at times

Really enjoyed hearing from the interviewees and the historical explorations of kink were for me the most fascinating parts.

Sadly the series devolved into that eye rolling/stereotypically naive, left leaning modern feminist point of view in which everything is the result of societal conditioning - absolutely no mention of the enormous power of hormones, nature and as expected threw Freud under the bus... there was also a lot of self contradiction and strategic bullet dodging particularly in episodes 5 and 6. I didn't feel like they really wrestled with consent and the link between sex, violence and pleasure in a way that wasn't incredibly immature and infantilising like those cringe inducing consent workshops and the type of "consent form" nonsense you here on college campuses. It gets a bit heavy handed with the ideological feminist interpretation of society still being a "patriarchy" if it ever was, which is just absurd. Makes me question whether the historical education or the scientists were legit or not. Still a good listen even if you disagree I guess. Petty it wasn't longer.

An insight into something many of us would hide from but secretly love to try. Yes it is basic in some ways, crude but very interesting for any normal adult.

great introduction to kink and kinky people

I found the topics discussed well researched, the explanations were good, the interviews informative and fun. I loved the scientific background information and the storyline - definitely a great listen no matter if you are new or experienced in the topic.

Everything a kink person needs to know

Okay mayb not everything but it is funny, informative and has a many different types of views from all people of all types.

This was a truly fantastic listen, which offered lots of new ideas, and fixed certain stereotypes and I will be trying some things out later.
