Reads like an aga-saga from the early eighties but apparently written in 2008. You’d never guess that - Awful tropes, tiniest whiff of antisemitism and an obvious plot. With a chunk of unrevised second wave feminism shoehorned in presumably in an attempt to redeem how dated it feels.

Not entirely sure why I finished it. Save your money.
