Sadly disappointed with this one. Having listened to many of Simons other books I had high hopes for this one, yet the first half of it had the feel of copy and paste from his earlier novels. It did pick up second half but when compared to others it’s like he’s rang this one in

Very well written and brilliantly narrated book. Clever story with lots of twists. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book although, at times, the plot was difficult to follow. The end is worth waiting for and Paul Thornley, as usual, delivers

I am shocked to say that this is the first of Simon Kernick's books that I've not enjoyed. I struggled to finish it, if I'm honest. He usually writes, foot to the floor, hang on to your hat...this was more 'Driving Miss Daisy' Time to look for a new favourite author?

Not one of his best I'm sad to say!
