Great Introduction to keto...

Having wanted to furnish myself with a good grounding in the basics of a ketogenic diet, I was very pleased to come across this very informative overview.
Some very easy to understand science on how the body uses fat for energy, rather than carbs, as well as ideas of foods that are suitable, those that should be avoided, and some good ideas for mealtimes.
The narration took a little getting used to, but once I got used to the heavy accent, the information was clear and concise.

Wow

I am super new to keto, and this cookbook was helpful in breaking down the principles for me. I hate to cook, so I was apprehensive, but this book helped get me past my initial roadblocks. I appreciated the way everything was broken down, and explained. Instead of a giant ball of keto confusion, I got small, manageable sections. It was great for answering my questions, without overwhelming me.

Glad it was free

Some interesting information and advice I didn't know before but a lot of this short book is lists and it sounds like it was narrated by Microsoft Samantha with a fake enthusiastic tone.

NIce easy introduction to keto

This book is ideal if, like me, you’re after an easy introduction to keto diet. Narrator is a little over enthusiastic, but the chapters are short and cover all the key areas - including a sample keto shopping list and menu

Excellent book for starting

Excellent book for starting. However... the recipes for week one and two serve between one and twelve portions. The shopping list doesn't mention how many portions are planned for. One of the egg recipes makes 12 portions and says I can keep it for 24 hours in the fridge ( what do I do with the other 10 portions?). So it really could have done with a decent editor. Despite the utter frustration and confusion this caused I feel it is a great starter book as I went out and bought stuff and got cooking and eating straight away. Completely confirmed my belief that sugar addiction is life- changing. I feel so much healthier, am never hungry and never crave food. Thank you for the great recipes.

Can't wait to start seeing results..

A very different take on a diet plan that I could easily adhere to. This book is very clear about what is expected of you depending on which Keto path you choose. What I like most about this book are the upfront warnings about why you shouldn't over do it. Especially for those that don't like to workout. It's certainly interesting enough to give it a try. The narration is also well fitting for this book.

A basic guide

In 43 minutes you can not become an expert in anything but this short Audio Book will give you an idea if you want to learn more detail about this subject.

The Narrator did a good job in delivering the material.

To The Point, but...

First, I received this for free in exchange for a review.

I already follow a type of Keto Diet (Atkins) due to diabetes. As far as information, it's pretty accurate for a brief discussion and tips.
I could not enjoy this narrator. She sounded rather robotic. I think I was more annoyed by how she pronounced "process" like pronoun rather than how most American's pronounce it which is more like "production". Ah instead long o.

Also, couldn't get to the web site indicated at the end.

Keto basics

Though you can get the same info for free from various sources online, this audiobook gives you quick access. Just don't expect anything particularly new content-wise.

Helpful actionable material.

Don’t waste your time surfing dozens of blogs to get a good start with a Ketogenic diet. All you need to get started is right here. The content is well organized and doesn’t get bogged down in extraneous details.

Great introduction to the best diet

The ketogenic diet is one of the most important dietary revolutions in living memory. It's profoundly changed my life, and I can't recommend the diet enough.

This book is a great primer on the principles of ketosis, including insulin response to carbohydrates and potential meals. I strongly recommend that everyone follow this diet, and this book is an excellent way to learn about the biochemistry of it all. Recommended.

Good information

I enjoyed the information in the book. I’m a big keto fan and agreed with everything the author said. I didn’t like the narrator though, it felt like she was reading with too much fake enthusiasm. I also wasn’t a fan of the parts where the author read of recipes, but some people may find that useful.

Bazinga

This was informative. Some of my coworkers are into keto so I figured I'd learn a little about it. The narrator was good. The information was interesting and easy to follow. I learned something from this listen but I will probably not revisit this title.

Disclaimer: I've been listening at 2x speed for so long anything else sounds like slow motion. My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed.
