In the 19 years I've been a member of Amazon, I've never once “Pre-ordered” anything, with the exception of this book. I found all of her information to be extremely well researched, and she consistently provided far more useful and important health information, of a higher value, than even most of the medical doctors who've posted on the same subjects. I decided to give it a shot, but still with some reluctance, as eating this way is totally counter intuitive to the way I've eaten for the last 40 years.

Niiice! I like it! Come on! When I was a kid butter was bad, eggs were bad, saturated fats were bad. Now margarine is bad, eggs and butter are fine, red meat is great...Next week who knows what we will be told. With Intermittent Fasting, you learn to not eat because the clock says "Meal Time". For years I ate breakfast because all those "experts" kept saying it was the most important meal of the day. I would routinely eat a meal I didn't even want because I had heard so many times how important it was! Now I wait until I am actually hungry, usually at the usual lunch time, and I feel so much better all morning. Read this book with an open mind, and give Intermittent Fasting a chance. You may discover, as I did, that you feel much better with less food! I also make better choices, because when I am truly hungry anything tastes good! Good book for me! I like it! Well done!

Yes! We bought it! We are doing it! It is simple! Lovely book! The book is well written! The sample meals and examples and food lists and portions are easy to follow (100 grams equates we figured out to about 1 cup - that was the only "challenge" as we are not Brits) and it is fun to do and not hard at all. The we of us is husband and wife....and we enjoy "planning" the "fast" days menu and look forward to those days amazingly! We feel better on the FAST DAYS than we do on the "other" days. LOL! It is a great book and well work the few coins for purchase. It has changed our eating habits for the better as well as our cholesterol and blood pressure and glucose levels! That kind of says it all. BTW, we are senior citizens....if we benefited from this book, you can, too! Intermittent Fasting is awesome! Love that book! Great

Intermittent Fasting is everything i need! This will sound like a broken record but it is my story so it is worth writing.
I should have bought stock in Weight Watchers decades ago...I cannot even count the number of times I have joined but the first time was in 1991. Restart, quit, gain, self hatred etc year after year. Punctuated by the South Beach Diet, Intuitive/mindful gaining...I mean eating, HCG twice...and short runs with probably 30 diet books on amazon.
Recently saw photos of myself at Christmas and felt desperate again...looked for another book. Saw this one, bought it.
Read it.
Wow.
The part that jumps out at me is the “natural-ness of fasting (our ancestors were well acquainted) and the extreme health benefits. If I don’t lose a pound (oh but I will!), I kicked in numerous positive changes...all the way down to the celluar level yesterday during my first “fast day”. Health promoting things began happening to my likely sluggish brain cells, to borderline ldl levels, to insulin resistance (that has been living on borrowed time), slowly creeping cholesterol...a true, positive wake up call to my health and body! Also, changes to other health systems that I am too unfamiliar with to try to explain here...read the book! I am pretty excited about it. And here I sit, the next morning drinking my coffee (with creamer today!) and I am not in a huge rush for breakfast. I feel normal.
Until yesterday, it had been a long time since I actually felt hungry. Amazing book! Love it!

Wow! I really like this book! Well done! I bought this book for my sister (age 64) b/c she was steadily gaining weight over the last few years and feeling miserable about it.After reading it (in just 1 evening), I was impressed with the research and I then sent the book to my sister (I live in NC; she lives in Fla). She began the program immediately and in 2 months she tells me she has lost 11 lbs. and is feeling so much better. She doesn't feel at all deprived by the fasting regime. I can't wait to see her. Amazing book! Like to have it!

Wow! Look at this book!


Wow! Look at this book! Amazing one! 5:2 diet is the only diet that finally worked for me, this is what every other diet is trying to emulate without getting to the point. I have always had those 10-15 pesky pounds to lose and finally something worked! I eat healthy and I exercise and walk a lot and basically nothing worked. I kept losing weight on this diet even on non-diet days! I lost 13 pounds last year and have come off it due to whatever and now I am back! Let me tell you, I ate a pint of ice-cream in a week (on off-diet days) and still lost 7 pounds. INCREDIBLE. I recommend you buy the book though, because it boggles your mind how healthy it actually is and how this diet helps with chronic illnesses like diabetes, it is inspiring! Go be your best you!

This book on ketogenic diet,

This book on ketogenic diet, by Melissa Sanders is really a gift that came at a right time for me. I was a total clueless person on the ketogenic diet and was almost at my wit’s end with my seemingly lost battle on weight loss, when I chanced upon this book through a friend and gave it a shot.
The benefits of going on the ketogenic diet were clearly outlined to me, as well as the potential issues one might face when doing this. I appreciated the easy to follow 4 week meal plans as well as some of the recipes which were provided for in the book.
Yet, what I really think differentiated this ketogenic diet book away from the others was the step by step guide that really delved into the smaller details which this diet entailed. Things which you may miss out after you are caught up in the enthusiasm of going on the ketogenic diet after reading up on all the fantastic benefits.
A nitty gritty book that really felt that the author left nothing back, and shared about his own personal journey and experiences with the ketogenic diet. Thumbs Up!

WOW not only is this book full of yummy recipes, but it's packed with information about the Ketogenic diet and even includes a meal plan!!! How awesome is that?! I was expecting an intro and some recipes, but this book has SO MUCH information about the keto life and the benefits and it lists foods you CAN eat and foods you should stay away from - and the best part? I ordered the kindle version so i can read it on my e-reader, or my phone, or my computer, or a n y w h e r e!!! Yay! love it so much!

Ketogenic diet is well explained. The book also shows how this kind of diet works. It discusses the benefits that this diet could give. And it provides a step by step guide how to do it effectively. It also provides recipes that are very easy to prepare and very delicious. I would definitely recommend this book not only for those who want to loss weight but for anyone who wants a healthy life

Fantastic

If you are looking for the Intermittent Fasting for women, then this book is for you. In this book, I found the information about Intermittent Fasting- the rules, Intermittent Fasting for women over 50, the wonderful benefits of Intermittent Fasting, types of Intermittent Fasting, how to prepare for Intermittent Fasting, the best Intermittent Fasting protocols for women and much more. The author also offers us many recipes for Intermittent Fasting. All these recipes are saved with simple ingredients and easy cooking directions. This book includes full colour photos of every finished dish that make our job easier. I liked this book very much. It is a really great resource on Intermittent Fasting. The author has done a really great job in creating this book. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this cookbook. I have always wanted to try the Keto Diet, but I don’t do long recipes and I have an almost 2 year old, So time in the kitchen is very limited. So when I saw this, it was perfect for me. The receipts are quick and so so good!

It describes the mechanisms of action of fasting in the body, various methods of fasting, the effect of fasting on cancer and diabetes, activation of the immune system, lowering cholesterol and triglycerides, anti-inflammatory effect of fasting, increasing muscle mass, keto recipes for intermittent fasting. This text also offers support to pregnant women who want to look out for the INTERMITTENT FASTING, providing useful and easily implemented advice. There are many diet books out there, but I found this one full of useful information. Most diets say to fill up on any fruits and vegetables, but this book actually went over the fact that there are some vegetables that are not congruent with weight loss and that they should be avoided. It was a helpful book.

I love this book, it is one of the few meal prep b

I love this book, it is one of the few meal prep books that actually taught me something new. I use a lot of the recipes now. I also add or subtract things now based on my taste. I appreciate the authors gradual process toward moving to meal prep. Helps you feel less overwhelmed.

If you live a Ketogenic Lifestyle and cannot live without bread, then do purchase. I must state I read other review's and I am not on the Ketogenic Diet to lose any weight nor is my immediate Family. The diet is for the overall health benefits of my Family. The recipes are easy to follow and I love having the nostalgia of an actual hand held cookbook. Thank you.

I like the book, but the ingredient lists are very daunting with many obscure hard to find things listed. She keeps talking about not wanting to “count calories or macros” due to stress, but it’s stressful just thinking about the grocery list.

This is an excellent intermittent fasting book. Good explanations and easy to understand.There are so many fantastic recipes in this book that I had to buy my own copy. I love the way that there are helpful comments throughout the book. This collection has helped me use my slow cooker to its potential instead of just for stews. Great book!
I couldn't recommend it enough, it makes managing mealtimes for a busy family a breeze. Take the time to read the foreword

This book has become my bible. I’m in my mid sixties and my weight gain hit me hard. I’ve tried every diet there is but instead of dieting now...I just eat a certain way. Who knew fat was good for you! Now I eat and truly enjoy my food. I don’t eat just chicken breast anymore...I GET TO EAT DARK MEAT! Avacados...go for it. The weight is dropping and I’m never hungry. I can go to any restaurant and find the right food to eat. Do I order pasta at an Italian restaurant...NO...I’ll order lamb chops, a steak, fish.Do I fall off sometimes...sure I do. But it’s so easy to pick right back up. I’ve lost 10lbs and can’t be happier because I’m truly enjoying food again. Just remember...slow and easy wins the race. Thank you Leanne for changing my life.

This book was a great book to get me started on a Keto diet. Went from 232 to 174 lbs. The author encouraged use of healthy fats. The keto diet does take a leap of faith, you must be fully committed. Recommend you read the theory and find some recipes to get started. Beware you may get Keto Flu starting out, be prepared for this.

This is an excellent book. It gives an overall description of the diet and what it can do. It starts with explaining, giving hints for success, shopping lists, recipes, and sample meals. Very easy to follow. I started the diet for two weeks and lost weight, lowered my sugar A1c and in such a short time felt like I was more awake, alert, and physically stronger with less ailments. My doctors were finally pleased with my progress. I'm ordering another recipe book so as to keep having choices to keep on this diet.
