Clear explanation of how ketosis would be useful.

Listening to this audio book makes me learn about Science of how our body works when we are in strict low carb diet like this ketogenic diet. It explains what ketosis means and how to attain its optimal level. The “keto” in the word ketosis comes from the fact that it makes the body produce small fuel molecules called “ketones”. This is an alternative fuel for the body, used when blood sugar (glucose) is in short supply. Our brain also needs it to function well everyday of our lives.

This book also shared recipes which are easy to prepare and the ingredients are listed carefully in my notes so that I would just pick it up in the market conveniently. Nice audio book. I love to listen to it again to be guided with the diet.

Useful in maintaining a healthy life.

I read some books about ketogenic diet but I like this more because it was discussed with audio. Ketosis is a popular weight loss strategy. Low-carb eating plans emphasized proteins for fueling our body. In addition to helping our body burn fat, ketosis can make us feel less hungry. It also helps us maintain muscles. The book also mentioned the foods to take in moderately and those that should not be. Most of all, it has specific lists of ingredients which I could conveniently buy and cook whenever time possible. Low-carb foods can be useful in maintaining a healthy life.

Well written and well narrated!

This book was narrated nicely and it educates me about ketosis and how it helps to lose weight. Ketosis is a normal metabolic process, something our body does to keep working. When it doesn't have enough carbohydrates from food for our cells to burn for energy, it burns fat instead. As part of this process, it makes ketones. If we're healthy and eating a balanced diet, our body controls how much fat it burns, and don't normally make or use ketones. But when cut way on calories or carbs, our body will switch to ketosis for energy.

Moreover, this book is very educational and I'd love to listen to recipes mentioned to get me started with this.

This is worth sharing book.

I agree with the ideas presented in this book. Even me, I am guilty of thinking that less food means less calories and this would make me lose weight but this would lead me to eating disorders which is more problem. This book educates me how to lose weight safely by applying ketogenic diet. Through the process of Ketosis, fats would be break down and burn. It promises sustainable weight loss in safe and manageable way. There are also foods that we have to take in moderately and foods that we should avoid in order to sustain the diet. This is worth sharing book.I like this book.

I'm very impressed with this book.

Just started on my Keto Life change and this book helped me so much. It gave me the tools I needed to start Keto and explained the standard diet. This gives a very thorough description of what the diet is, why it's important, health benefits, the differences in foods. It even gives you tips on shopping for the right foods. I’ve tried a few of the recipes already and they were easy to follow and tasted very good. I'm very impressed with this book.

Ketogenic diet for better health

This has the most comprehensive explanation of what Ketogenic diet means and how it works. It also mentioned about the process of ketosis and how it burns fats to aid weight loss. The narration was pleasing to my ears. It's been more than a week of consuming Ketogenic recipes and I noticed a good metabolism. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Help you understand what Keto Diet is .

I have listened to a few other books on this subject and this one does a good job making the diet easy to follow. Everything is covered from the history of the diet, the benefits, how to measure ketones, and macronutrient breakdown. Anyone who is interested in a low carb high-fat diet should give this a listen. The book explains everything you need to get started and help you understand what Keto Diet is .
