About this listen
Keepsakes is a creepy novella conceived as an interlocking triptych of tales focusing on the collectors of evil items. But which came first - the evil or the item?
"Mood Ring" is the story of a young woman and her obsession with an ancient amber adornment that once belonged to Lizzie Borden. "Death-Sized" shows what happens when a little voodoo doll comes to life and has big, bad plans. "Misfortune Cookie" takes a bite out of a certain dental assistant whose fascination with collecting baby teeth leads him to dark, mysterious places.

We all had or still have keepsakes that can be anything from a ring, to a doll to teeth. Yes you read right! These objects are the focus of these three short stories that really entertained me and made me chuckle but also twist my face in disgust. What I liked the most was not only the originality of the stories and the quirkiness of the characters but how in one way or another someone in these stories got what they wanted, either willingly or not!
I have to say that I didn't like some of the narrators which I really think ruined part of the experience.. I'll make sure to grab a print copy so I can fully enjoy it again!
Really recommend it for a quick horror but fun triptych of short stories!
Quick but so original short tales of horror!
