Summary

Keeping your love on is a hard thing to do. Sometimes it’s the hardest thing to do. But if you want to build healthy relationships with God and others, learning to keep your love on is non-negotiable. Adults and children alike thrive in healthy relationships where it is safe to love and be loved, to know and be known. Yet for many, relationships are anything but safe, loving, or intimate. They are defined by anxiety, manipulation, control, and conflict. The reason is that most people have never been trained to be powerful enough to keep their love on in the face of mistakes, pain, and fear.

Keep Your Love On reveals the higher, Jesus-focused standard defined by mature love - love that stays "on" no matter what. Danny Silk’s practical examples and poignant stories will leave you with the power to draw healthy boundaries, communicate in love, and, ultimately, protect your connections, so you can love against all odds. As a result, your relationships will be radically transformed for eternity. When you learn to keep your love on, you become like Jesus.

⛏🤭🏺Like finding hidden treasure...

This is THE starting place for healthy relationships. But DON’T BE FOOLED into thinking this is basic or that you won’t learn anything. This book is transformative for people lovers at EVERY level. Danny Silk has a super power. 💪😍💥 He can take really complex matters of the heart and can turn them into truths so simple, they feel obvious. 🤯 There are so many good books out there...much lengthier books that expound on issues for couples, for parents, for dealing with difficult people... But somehow, this concise little gem of a book has all that, yet remains delightfully simple. It is a wise man indeed who spends his entire life expanding his capacity to love. “Keep Your Love On” is a treasure trove of wisdom for a lifetime of growth. If we could all meet one another HERE ⬇️, what a wonderful it would be. 👫❤️✨🌎✨❤️

Something I will read/listen to over and over

Valuable information that I wish I had been taught when I was growing up. I will listen to or read this book for many years to come to be reminded of the lessons that it holds. It can be so challenging at times but the rewards are priceless if you can learn to "keep your love on."

What is the goal of your relationship?

Asking the above question though me off for a moment as I had not REALLY thought about that question in any of my relationships. That is until I read this book. Danny Silk shares how to clearly define your relationship goals and give your practical insight to work towards your goal of intimacy. Must read!
