Summary

The hunt for an informant in the ranks draws Lieutenant Rebecca Frye, her lover Doctor Catherine Rawlings, and Officer Dellon Mitchell into a deadly game of hide-and-seek with an underworld kingpin who traffics in human souls.

Newly promoted Detective Lieutenant Rebecca Frye once again assembles her unorthodox team of lovers and friends to bring a deadly informant in the police department to justice. Aided by J. T. Sloan, a cyber sleuth with a personal score to settle, Rebecca soon discovers the conspiracy extends far beyond the police department into the underworld of those who trade in human souls. Pressured by her superiors, driven by the private need to avenge her murdered partner, and determined to succeed, she must put one officer’s life at risk and her own heart on the line.

A solid continuation

I'm enjoying this series. The characters are well developed and the storyline compelling.
It was quite frustrating though that the narrator kept mixing up the characters "Mitchell" and "Michael". I don't remember the book having these errors.

Recommendable

Great story , lots of sex, enjoyable listen! just my kind of story. Not too much of a fan of the narrator, even so, it was well read.

Terrific book!

This series is by far Radclyffe's best! The characters were fleshed out with more depth and the storyline was written from today's headlines. Hope to see the series continue ue

it keeps getting better

I do have to say that the sex scenes has become funny to me because they're a lot of them! But, the story keeps getting interesting. I love how the couples love each other. Sloan and Michael's love is priceless and beautiful. And I love Rebecca (my hero) and Katherine relationship too. I love how the team have become like a family. I love Watts character, he brings humor to the book! Can't wait to get the last one and how the story will end. As for the narrator, she does a great job with this series! This is a must listen book!!!!!

Ok just a few word.
Mitch get more into his new norm.
Rebecca, finally answers the marriage question from the last book
Michael gets moving better.
and the rest of the gang is pushing hard to put the scumbags away from the porn ring and who killed Rebecca's partner and hurt Micheal. So yes, very exciting lots of questions answered . and Yes they do get names.. but im not gonna say. Go read the series for yourself. its amazing.

Quality and Consistency Continue

Love the way the same characters renew there roles to continue the story.. Effortless Interweaving story lines "Ally" from the First Responder Series into the mix.. Can't wait to hear more.
