Summary
Hemligheter: Del 3. Det var en isfläck. Lite otur. Men det räckte för att nästan ta livet av Kath Redway då hon fick sladd med bilen och körde rakt ner i dammen i den annars så fridfulla nationalparken Dartmoor i Devon i England. Som genom ett mirakel överlever Kath olyckan med några skråmor och minnesförlust. Hon är skärrad men glad att vara hemma i det ensligt belägna huset på landet, hos maken Adam och deras begåvade men tillbakadragna dotter Lyla. Men familjen verkar inte lika glad. Kaths man är kylig, rentav ilsken. Och dagdrömmaren till dotter pratar allt konstigare om en man ute på myren. Kath återfår några skrämmande bitar av minnet och så småningom förstår hon att det inte alls var en olyckshändelse hon var med om. Hela hennes liv rasar och fylls av mörker, hot och terror.
