Summary

Some fires warm you up. And some burn you down.

Kevin McNicholl may be a brutal force on the rugby field, but off the field, the star New Zealand All Black is a famously nice guy. His new tenant, though, arouses more than his protective side. She sets him on fire. Pity he's evicting her.

Every woman deserves her dreams. Chloe Donaldson can't afford dreams, though, so she's given them up. Marriage, her ballet career, and now, her beautiful tower apartment with its view of the sea. Her new landlord is kicking her out, along with her three-year-old son, Zavy.

She should hate him. But when a man looks at you like that, it's so easy to lose your focus.

Good addition to series

I love this series and I have to admit some books are better than others. This is right up there among the best with a believable romance between single mum/ dancer Chloe and Rugby player Kevin. There was a particularly touching relationship between Kevin and Chloe's son, and I liked that there were so many other well rounded characters in their families.

I have to admit that the romance was just a bit too smooth. There was no major conflict, and the couple were open and honest with each other. Great in real life, but I guess in a book it was all a bit non eventful. There was some tension added by the addition of the father of Chloe's son, but he was so much the one dimensional "bad guy" it was easy to see from the beginning that he was not going to last long.

This was a good listen, and I really enjoyed it, but I don't think I will want to listen to again.

Really good story

Would you listen to Just Say Yes again? Why?

Well certainly be listening to this again!

What did you like best about this story?

Just Kevin :)

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was so cute and a little heart stopping for a minute at the end.

Any additional comments?

I really liked this book and the narrator really set the story off, you could really identify every character and their personalities.
Lovely story about a rather inconvenient love (lust) at first sight. Kevin showed that slow and steady wins the day no small achievement for an All Black back. Rosalind James writes really rounded children and little zavy is no different. Anyone listening to this book will fall in love with this little guy.
Last but least Chloe, a woman who shows she is a fighter in all things, ballet , motherhood and even love. She is a really engaging characters who moves forward even when she is scared.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own

A problem well tackled

Quite a classy story with good pacy dialogue and a decent plot. The tale moved along well without padding except for 3/4 chapters of steamy bedroom activities. A fine conclusion to the story leaves with a HEA .
