Summary

What does true love look like once the honeymoon's over?

Eight smoking-hot rugby players. Eight partners. Seventeen kids. Beaches and barbecues and beer, salt and sand and sea. Family and good mates and no worries. December in New Zealand.

One very pregnant, very tired Hannah Montgomery Callahan is playing hostess to it all, doing her best and wondering if her best is good enough. And one legendary All Black captain is willing to do whatever it takes to show her that when he promised to be there for her forever, he meant it.

Note: This book includes three steamy scenes. And they're good ones.

Part time pro's !!!

Two things first Claire Bocking is a terrific narrator and Rosalind James can tell a good romantic story that's both interesting and enjoyable if you like plenty of steamy passages .i am no longer surprised that the AB's are not the power team that I thought as it looks , assuming the author did her research in depth and properly , they spent their energy being male nymphomaniacs . I was once told if you do it right the first time you don't need to do it all nugjt.
Yeh yeh I know it's fiction but there's no smoke without fire !!! Swing low sweet chariots . Lol

A warm, sometimes hot mix of rugby romance couples

Some books seem made for audio and Just This Once is up there. In some ways, it's almost a series of conversations in that each featured couple tells an unknown aspect of their story - sometimes as a flashback, other times moving forward. It's a credit to Claire Bocking's skills once again that each character has their own voice and shading .
This book kept me company in the air on the way home from Australia - ideal because I wasn't interrupted by required work! It's fun too and we all need a little of that ...
If you have listened/ read any of the previous NZ books then you will be familiar with the
couples and probably be as delighted as I was to hear extra parts of their stories and some new developments. Koti and Kate continue to be a hot couple, ratching up the steam; Drew struggles slightly for once but true to form, squares up and Finn reveals an intuitive side that I hadn't previously discerned. Plus my favourite words of advice to Drew "show her more"!
I think this audio is best enjoyed if you have read/ listened to other books because it adds value, but it is more than good enough to stand alone and won't disappoint you.
Great expressive dialogue and writing from Rosalind James combined with top knotch reading from Claire Bocking.

I received a free copy of this book. I wasn't compensated or obliged to be positive, this is my honest opinion - I loved listening!
