About this listen

A selection of 1960s sketches from "Round the Horne" featuring the outrageously camp couple, Julian and Sandy. Oozing with innuendo and double-entendre, they engage on a variety of entrepreneurial endeavours, from Guided Tripettes to the Bona Guest House, Bogmouth.© & (P)1992, 2002 BBC Worldwide Ltd. There are just two collection of julian and sandy material available on audible - both absolutely outstanding. Better not to try to listen to a whole batch in one go because the structure - and indeed the jokes! - are quite similar ... but if you're happy to dip into it and get a great 6 minute slice of gay history whenever you want, it'll keep you going for weeks.

sheer joy

When this was part of the Round the Horne program it was funny, one or two sketches are funny listening. Becomes a little bit repetitive when listened to one after the other.
Still a classic though.
