  • Summary

  • Let’s face it: life isn’t simple. But comedian Julia Morris is determined to make things EASY.

You may know comedian, actor, and self-described 'big deal' Julia Morris from her side-splitting stints as a television presenter on Australia’s Got Talent and I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here or as the winner of 2011’s Celebrity Apprentice Australia. Now, Morris adds another title to her esteemed resume: life-expert and personal development guru.

In this Audible Original that’s both hilarious and surprisingly helpful, Lady JMo introduces her very own EASY method, a system she devised to combat critics, avoid undesirable tasks, and, well, have a whole lot of fun doing it. Sharing wild showbiz anecdotes and offering tongue-in-cheek advice, Julia Morris guides listeners through the ins-and-outs of making life EASY - by Expecting nothing, building a protective suit of Armour to silence the naysayers, and putting a Stop to anything you object to, so you can finally have a life worthy of exclaiming 'Yippie!'. A filter-free portrait of life in the limelight that’s peppered with off-the-wall, totally inapplicable solutions to commonplace problems, Julia Morris Makes it EASY might not transform your life in the most traditional sense - but it will leave you laughing every step of the way.

Please note: contains strong language and adult content.

I tried, but hurt to listen....

Hard work to listen to. Loud, squawky with terrible attempts at other accents, distracting from content which wasnt up to much either - I tried to persevere but couldn't get past 2nd episode. Don't waste your time.

Couldn't Bear it for More than Ten Minutes

Loud woman, squawking in silly voices about how "fun and crazy" she is. No thank you.

Introduction was too much

20 minutes and I'd heard enough about fried eggs and the silly accents were too much and just forced me to press stop.

Awful

The different accents are really off-putting and she confesses she has never read a book in her life. I couldn't listen any further than section 2. it may get better.

Crazy, irreverent & hilarious, just like Julia!

I first stumbled across Julia Morris when seeing clips of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here Australia and immediately fell in love with her! She is effortlessly funny, self deprecating and quite frankly bat s!#t crazy.

And the book/audiobook is as funny as the woman herself. She speaks candidly about trying to be a wife, mother and celebrity, with many hilarious anecdotes and stories she encounters whilst doing so. She is unafraid to make light of odd & bizarre situations she has found herself in, calling out other celebrities she has encountered (such as the Tom Cruise Minority Report Premier incident) and the fact she has of yet, not won elusive Gold Logie (which is long overdue in my opinion).

Full of Julia-ism’s, jokes about her long suffering husband with comical self help tips along the way, this book will make you laugh, cry (with laughter) and give you an insight into the mindset of one of the funniest women on TV.

Julia is what Julia is.

Full disclosure, I first met Julia when she was working in some Sydney tower and living with my work colleague. She was entertaining then and she is entertaining now. Personally I think her drama work could be her real strength. Never the less, her wit and comedy is still up there and can still make you laugh. Go girl! These insights of her could be a little shorter but now I am nick picking. Worth a listen to whilst travelling on the bus or walking to get a caffeine fix. I think she should turn these into a podcast talking to other famous people or discussing everything but the topic. Love her work.

Absolutely hilarious

Very on-the-nose satire, had me rolling on several occasions. Julia is genuinely hilarious, though a bit obnoxious and grating to listen to at times.

The Easiest Way to Become a Loser

Loud and Obnoxious advice to become negative and depressed. Not even slightly funny. I would have given less than one star but couldn't figure out how.

WHAT DOUBLEMOON SAID.

Earnestly there is no content here. And her words demonstrate that her person is less than her content.

Sardonic, shallow & psychopathological

Warning: She has an interesting smart ass take on life. Sardonic, wry but still an extremely narcissistic and shallow take on humor. In fact, psychopathological in her viewpoints.

Did not make it past the 1st episode. Obnoxious.

Did not make it past the 1st episode. Obnoxious. Disrespectful. So much negativity. I would never recommend this to anyone, would be embarrassed.
