Summary

Jorundyr's Path is walked only by the brave. It is survived only by the strong.

As Wulfric pursues Adalhaid's Blood Debt, he soon learns that the path to revenge is never easy, and the desires of men and the will of gods rarely meet. Aethelman seeks answers to questions long ignored. Rodulf chases power and wealth.

From the streets of Elzburg to the dry plains of Darvaros, Wulfric walks Jorundyr's Path and encounters a world larger than he could ever have dreamed of, filled with friends, enemies, and danger - the crucible from which heroes are forged.

excellent story but slow

our 4 characters, 3 children now grown and an old priest, have taken separate routes since the fall of their village, new friends and enemies, adventure intrigue betrayal, each chapter change is slow and names to each paragraph unnecessary but worth persevering as we loose one and left one in danger after paths cross once again.

Ulfyr

This book, in my opinion, is better than the first. More characters' POV comes into play and we move through with each of their views giving this book a well rounded view from every angle. My only reservation would be the shortness of each viewpoint before moving onto the next.

Wulfric has had to flee Elzburg after killing the ambassador as part of his blood debt to avenge Adalhaid and has ended up on a ship journeying to Darvaros as part of a mercenary group after their leader, Dal Rhenning saved his life.

Wulfric walks Jourundyr's Path. Aethelman also has his quest to complete. Rodulf becomes even more despised, if that's possible.

I am looking forward to Book 3 and the reckoning that must surely come between Wulfric and Rodulf.

It just gets better

The second part of the story takes our heroes south where the story really picks up the pace, if you thought the first books was a bit slow to get going and not sure if it's for you , then take my advice it really does change gear , wolfric will see new lands meet new friends while his old ones are not far away having adventures of their own .
This is a must read, a great book, I cant wait for number 3 , the story is well told and the Narration by Simon Vance is first class , if you like his style there are many more scifi/fantasy books performed by Simon .
5 stars enjoy
