Summary

Jorundyr's Path is walked only by the brave. It is survived only by the strong.

As Wulfric pursues Adalhaid's Blood Debt, he soon learns that the path to revenge is never easy, and the desires of men and the will of gods rarely meet. Aethelman seeks answers to questions long ignored. Rodulf chases power and wealth.

From the streets of Elzburg to the dry plains of Darvaros, Wulfric walks Jorundyr's Path and encounters a world larger than he could ever have dreamed of, filled with friends, enemies, and danger - the crucible from which heroes are forged.

Good story, made better by the performance

A good solid story, however it’s the performance of the narrator that really brings it to life... awesome

Ulfyr

This book, in my opinion, is better than the first. More characters' POV comes into play and we move through with each of their views giving this book a well rounded view from every angle. My only reservation would be the shortness of each viewpoint before moving onto the next.

Wulfric has had to flee Elzburg after killing the ambassador as part of his blood debt to avenge Adalhaid and has ended up on a ship journeying to Darvaros as part of a mercenary group after their leader, Dal Rhenning saved his life.

Wulfric walks Jourundyr's Path. Aethelman also has his quest to complete. Rodulf becomes even more despised, if that's possible.

I am looking forward to Book 3 and the reckoning that must surely come between Wulfric and Rodulf.

Superb series and it just gets better

Excellent story with dual narratives working really well. Simon Vance is brilliant and ensures that all the characters have their own distinct voice both actually, but also as intended by the writer. Straight into the next book now....can't wait.👍👍👍

Overall very good

The story continues and a very decent story it is. The characters are likeable or dislikable when they're meant to be. The narrator Simon Vance brings each character to life in an amazing way and he really makes the book great to listen too. Overall I can only give the book 4 stars and that is the same reason as the 1st book. The fight/battle scenes are very weak. Over in a very short amount of time and making you feel a little disappointed. In short this series is good but not epic. Will I listen to this series again. Yes probably but its not high up an my re-listens.
