Audible exclusive. We welcome Jodi Taylor to Audible to discuss her hit series The Chronicles of St Mary's - the adventures of a group of investigative time travelling historians.

Jodi Taylor is, and always has been, a complete history nut. It takes vast amounts of chocolate to get her out of bed for anything after 1485. And if it's raining, there's no chance.

Thank you for this fantastic short Q and A session with Jodi Taylor. For me it has made Jodi more of a person I feel I could sit down with and talk about St. Mary's, all the characters, history and life in general.

Hi Jodi.

Enjoyed this interview, got a bit of information about St Mary's without any spoilers. Felt like the interview was quite focused and allowed Jodi Taylor to express her opinions well. She's a very intriguing person, quite quirky and extremely pleasant to listen to, not to mention enormously funny.
Although she points out the differences between herself and her main character of Max (in the St Mary's Chronicles books) there are obviously clear similarities between them which is fun. As she says herself, write what you know. A very interesting interview.

Lots of info covered

Listened to this 2016 interview in August 2021. So glad The St. Mary Chronicles are still going strong.
Also really enjoying the Time Police series. Wasn't too sure about the first book but with the second the characters are coming in to their own.

Agree with another reviewer, the interviewee was awful.

I do hope Jodi Taylor won't end the St.Mary Chronicles any time soon. Surely there's still a lot of history for Max to investigate?

Thank you Jodi for giving me so much pleasure.

Love Jodi Taylor

A fascinating insight & look into the, mind, writing, & personality of the writer behind the "Chronicles of St Mary's" series, where a bunch of mad cap historians bump & bash their way, back & forth through time & history !!!

Bringing Jodi Taylor to listeners / readers !!!

Great Interview with the wonderful Jodi Taylor. I absolutely love the St Mary's books and will admit to breathing a big sigh of relief when she said that she was writing the ninth book and had plans for more! I love the world and all the wonderful characters that she brings to life, the would be sorely missed.

Great Interveiw
