Great book to prepare your job interview.

This book is for anyone preparing for an interview who believes they are prepared. You will likely find you ARE NOT prepared when i was in few minutes. This book is incredibly helpful- I cannot recommend it highly enough.
For people who have been out of work for a significant amount of time or for the person who has worked several years for the same company, this book is a must.
Nice Book..

Fantastic book.

Fantastic book. It's not teaching you to memorize the answer. It teaches you the intention of each interview questions. To see through the eyes of the employers to examine your questions. When I went to mock interview after reading this book, my interviewer told me that she did not have any more suggestions because I am doing great.

Awesome book worth every penny

Great overview, very comprehensive. I was impressed with the number of possible questions addressed. Seems to cover all the likely questions and even though you wouldn't expect. Very handy to ensure you don;t blow your chances by stumbling on some unexpected question. Also in short sharp format and "straight to the topic" without the need to read several chapters of introduction . Would recommend to anyone in government or private sector

An Awesome Tool to have!!

Though I thought there are no model answers for your interview questions, this book is still an excellent tools to prepare your interview, especially helping yourself to be familiar with the mentality in an interview. The only drawback is the questions are sometimes similar..

at best a brief introduction for teen-agers

feels like a grifter trying to make a quick buck. no in depth analysis of the different interview styles and how to adapt to them instead it tells us not to be on your phone in the interview....

Right to the Point.

Additionally, the responses provoke an internal analysis and I was able to easily create my own, honest scenarios.
Very happy to recommend to families and friends.

Within the first 15 minutes wrong, bad advice

I stopped listening after these two interview advice pieces were given which I disagree with completely as most hiring managers would as well-1. Talk about benefits and negotiate salary in the interview- No! Only do this after you receive offer
2. In your 30 second tell me about yourself state your age and talk about you family- wrong again- no HR person we encourage you telling your age-risk of discrimination and something that cannot be asked - same with talking about family.

useful book...

A very useful book. The author is very good in explaining tips and strategies that may help you pass the job interview. This book teaches you on how to dress-up properly. The 81 questions given plus the possible answers are really good. Just learn how to deliver it intelligently.

UNPROFESSIONAL RECORDING!!!

3 Red Flags in under 7 minutes, I cannot focus on the content!!! Audible, don't you listen to books to ensure quality before allowing them up for sale? There are certain SKILLS AND EQUIPMENT TO PERFORM THE JOB AS NARRATOR. You notice immediately the narrator does not possess a headset and the room ECHO heard is disappointing. Quickly following the narrator speaks the word charisma incorrectly ending it in "er." A few moments later an unfortunate twisting of words, pausing for several seconds (here I'm waiting in the awkward silence wondering if the book will continue), then finally backtracks to reread from the beginning of the sentence. Then, about 7 minutes in, you hear a vehicle reverse sound "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP" again and then again. UGH!!! I had to stop listening to write this disappointing review :( I cannot yet review the book. I'M TOO DISTRACTED BY THE UNPROFESSIONAL RECORDING and mistakes that could have easily been avoided!!! To be continued... IF I can somehow find the skills to ignore the vast recording problems.

Excellent Employment Prep Tool

Great tool for employment prep. I definitely felt ready for an upcoming interview. The entire book was helpful but the questions asked in Chapter 11 the most valuable part. I'd recommend this book to anyone trying to prepare for an interview.

A nice refresher, but take with a grain of salt

This audio book should not be your only interview prep, but it is a nice addition to it. Some of the advice provided is quite wrong (don’t introduce your age in an interview, at least not in the United States!), but there are some gems as well (research your interviewer beforehand so you have good small talk at the ready).

Qualifications: Author Went on a Job Interview

The way the author writes leads me to believe that his primary qualification for writing this book is that he once got a job via a job interview. The book is too casual for my liking. It sounds more like it's "some guy's opinion" rather than an authoritative guide. I disagree with a few recommendations, but this is written in such that it's clear you should be using your own judgment.

The narration is fantastic. The narrator captures the tone of the writing and brings the casual voice to life. I'll be looking for more by the narrator and less by the author.

There's Better Books, But This Was Helpful, Too.

This book is ok if you're fresh out of college and looking for work. If not, you might try a different book.
