Rushed but brutal ending.
The relationship of the main characters and the overall contribution to the whole saga is well worth reading or listening the to the story

Who wrote this?
Narration was ok, not up to Peter Joyce standard. I am not convinced that REF wrote this story. Plot, writing and characters out of sync. All of a sudden the plot has “amorous“ connotations? Not convinced. I was close several times to stopping listening, however, managed to plough my way through. On a side note went to a REF book signing a few years back in Edinburgh, a very poor show from REF, complete lack of interest in his audience and the characters in the books. Yet again I left thinking there is no way he wrote the books.

I love this author but to basic
However the ending was too simple and the book was far too short (that may be because I love Fiest and always want more) there were also none of the plot twists we expect from the author.

¦-| I would like Peter joyce back.
Not fond of the narrator, characters sounded too similar, making it harder to understand who was talking, he also felt very monotone

I love the saga
I love Jimmy he's one of my favourite characters ever. The story is a little bit short but otherwise very engaging. while the narrator is not the same as Peter Joyce he is vastly better than the last one.

Don't be put off that it's not Peter Joyce Reading
At first I was wary about the new reader and found it difficult to adjust to anyone but Peter Joyce voicing these familiar and loved characters. And I'll admit there was an uncomfortable adjustment period of a half hour or so. But once it gets going, this reader does an outstanding job of narrating this story and the voices of all the characters. The writing is also some of the strongest that Feist has come out with. I found the ending very moving. And the bulk of the tale is some of the best of any Jimmy the hand writing. Highly recommend that anyone unsure should give this book a chance. If you're a fan of Feist I think you'll find this shorter tale particularly memorable.

Missing Peter Joyce’s narration.
Narrator was ok but all the other audio books have been voiced by Peter Joyce and he was missed on this one. Odd that the last book in a series would have a different narrator.

I'm a fiest fan he got me into this book,good
listen a bit rushed at the end but overall fine fits into the underlying story line through out all his books fills in a few holes
