Summary

Dalton Black never thought he'd find his true mate. His dark past convinced him that he could never be worthy of one, but the Great Luna did not agree. She saw fit to give him a gypsy healer, the purest of heart among their kind. And now that he's finally found her, she slips through his grasp and into the hands of Volcan, a corrupt high fae driven mad by his own need for power. Now, Dalton, with help from his own powerful friends, must find Jewel and rescue her before Volcan can use her blood to create witches and once again throw off the balance of good and evil.

As their journey begins, Perizada will once again lead a group of wolves on a hunt to bring down evil, but little do they know that Volcan is just a drop of blood in the sea of supernatural beings about to darken their path.

Jesus...

This book was.... ugh, stressful. Lol I had to walk away from it for months cause I think Quinn was trying to kill me. But I finally did it, I finished this mofo and I still want to throat punch Jewel. She is not one of the characters in this series I’m gonna like. She’s just annoying (to me!)

The other new gypsy healers make up for her utter stupidity. Yeah yeah, she’s not herself, I get that but I don’t have to like it. Lol Damn dark magic.

I’m kind of scared to go to the next book now... but I will.

insufferable

this has to be the worst book in this series and a part of the Wolf series she has written. who really makes a genius into an idiotic imbecile? If it was not for the need to understand the books in the other series I would not have listened to this garbage. jewel is the worst character and it makes no sense for her to be that dumb but is referenced as a genius! awful character!

terrible ending for a trilogy

Every book had a closure with a teaser for the next volumn. The Grey Wolf series had it. Every Nora Roberts book know how to close a chapter.
Quinn Loftus just needs more literary traing on how to write a multi book series
