Really enjoyed both characters. Not crazy how the heroine jumped to assumptions about the hero but otherwise a good interesting story. Kept my attention that's for sure. Short and sweet and can't wait for more! Excellent narrator.

First in series
I liked Jemma Book 1 as a start to a series. The characters seemed interesting and I'd like to know what happens next. With only two hours, there wasn't time to get much beyond the set up described in the description of the audiobook. It's also not clear at this point how many books will be in the final series. It does end with a cliffhanger.
This is the first audiobook I've listened to by Hannah Carmona and her performance was good.

Short and packed with a punch
I so enjoyed this quick listen. I do not care for short novels, but I gave this one a try and was pleasantly surprised. I had a lot of fun listening while I was at lunch. Of course I continued listening when I got back to my desk. Hannah Carmona is pretty new to me but she did a good job with the narration.

intriguing and holds attention well
I really enjoyed this. Was easy to listen too and I wish I'd got the other parts when I had the opportunity. I will search them out. The story was well written and I liked that I am pretty sure who the villian is although obviously I can anticipate a twist or two. Look forward to finding the other parts.

I enjoyed listening to Hannah Carmona, made the listening experience a joy.
This is a first part of a series and I am looking forward to listening to them all.
Jemma is an older sister trying to help out her younger brother, who she has been left to raise him when her parents are killed in a car crash. Jemma is also a blogger and that is how she makes her money.
She interviews the reality TV star, Daniel Starke, hoping that it would generate more interest in her blog, driving up its popularity.
Another blogger is not happy ........

Jemma 1
Jemma gave up her dreams to raise her brother after her parents die. So blogging is now her life and her viewers are begging for something new and big so she is going to have to give it to them. Calling in some favors she lands an interview exclusive with a reality star. Only things go wrong, this is a fun and cute story and its definitely entertaining. My only issue was it ends abruptly and totally leaves you hanging. The narration was nice. Thanks Audiobook obsession for the recommendation.

Part 1
I enjoyed this book. It is just the first part of this story. Jemma is a Blogger and Daniel is a reality TV star. She needs an interview with him to boost her blog page and a vlogger gets in the way. They end up fake dating to help the situation. I like the characters so far and the narration is great. I recommend this book.

Celebrity Romance
Jemma 1 by Clarissa Carlyle is a celebrity romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Hannah Carmona.
This is the first book of Clarissa’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. The book does end on a cliffhanger but it was no surprise since its part of a series. I look forward to reading the next book in the series Jemma 2 to get more of Daniel and Jemma’s love story.
Hannah did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

Wonderful!
This was a short but fantastic listen. The storyline captured my attention and held it from start to end. The characters are fabulous, particularly the MC. Jemma Larson knows and is very familiar with hardship. After her parents die in a car crash, she takes on the responsibility of raising her baby brother. Her blog is her only source of income. So when she takes a hit to a rival blogger, she needs to find a way to get her rating up before losing her financial source. Cab an interview with Daniel Starke, a celebrity heartthrob, be the answer?
Excellent narration by Hannah Carmona. She captures the characters' personalities and their emotions, bringing them to life. Jemma was a very enjoyable listen and, I strongly recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
